Lavender was working a Saturday shift this week, working on her shop skills. Having worked at WWW for so long, Lavender was still pretty good at dealing with customer. It was just memorising all the cakes and bread that Lavender was still getting the hang of. Sometimes it felt as though there was only so much information she could keep in her head.
She was getting the hang of it, though, and didn't have to check the book that was kept by the till quite as often as she had during the first week.
Lavender was just putting out some fresh Chelsea buns when the bell over the door rang as she came in. Odd. She wasn't used to a bell actually sounding like a bell.
