Completion: Complete
Reed stripped off his filthy clothes and set them straight to washing. It was becoming habit when he arrived home from work because his clothes were usually too ripe to leave sitting about. It simply easier and far less smelly to deal with them immediately. After making sure his charm was working properly, he went straight into the shower to take care of himself. Working for the MacFusty Clan was hard work but RB enjoyed his job and it was nice to spend so much time outdoors. Earlier that week, he'd even had a glimpse of one of the Hebridean Black Dragons flying overhead while he was helping repair one of the outlook blinds.
After he was cleaned up and presentable again, Reed grabbed a few grapes to snack on while he wrote Mandy about the
notice he'd seen posted. He hoped she'd be free to attend the ball with him. It was nearly a year since the last Autumn Ball and their first kiss. He'd been absolute rubbish then. Since last October, he'd had opportunities to get better. Perhaps not as many as he'd like considering that his schedule and Mandy's didn't always coincide, still, she was still able to make his heart race and his ... Yeah. Best he didn't start thinking too much about touching her or he'd need another shower. RB brought his attention back to his letter. He was still a little distracted because his owl Fleck was bobbing and weaving along the back of the chair in her excitement to visit Mandy.
Once the letter was finished, he fed the little owl a treat and sent her on her way. Reed wondered if he'd get a chance at the ball to practice what he'd learned in his dance lessons.
Dear Mandy,
I miss you. I'm sorry that work has been keeping me so busy.
I saw a notice posted when I did the marketing on Wednesday. There's to be another Autumn Ball this year on the 14th. Would you do me the honor of attending with me? I was able to work things out so I can have the 14th and 15th off, if you'd like to spend the entire weekend together doing things together.
Love,
Reed
P.S. I had to go in early this morning but we finished sooner than expected, so I'm home already. If you'd like to come over or meet somewhere after work, I'd love to see you tonight.
