On Sunday, Ron decided he had to move to Hogsmeade next weekend so he wouldn't lose the flat he'd let. Once again, though, he'd managed to put off telling Harry and Hermione for several days. After their unpleasant conversation on her birthday, Ron and Hermione were back to acknowledging each other tensely but not really talking. His friendship with Harry wasn't really back to normal, nor was he sure it ever would be, but at least the two of them were able to hang out in Auror training, even if they weren't spending much time together at the house. The longer he stayed at Grimmauld Place, the more he wanted to leave, if only to get away from always feeling like he was letting his two best mates down. He knew, though, that he couldn't wait any longer to tell them. When Spencer gave the Auror trainees a short break in their morning practicals, Ron caught Harry's eye.
"Want to take a little walk down the hall, mate?" he asked. "I, erm, have some news."
