Harry headed over to Ron when he caught his eye, wondering what was up. Ron had that slightly awkward, shifty look in his eyes that meant he had something to say, and Harry chuckled inwardly a bit.
"Sure, mate," he said, falling into step with Ron. "What sort of news?"
Harry had to know this was coming, didn't he? Ever since Ron had decided to move out, the question hadn't been whether, but when. As he and Harry walked a bit further from the other trainees, Ron came to stop, shifting nervously from one foot to the other.
"About my moving house," he said, rubbing his neck. "I, erm...well, I'm going to move to Hogsmeade this weekend. Saturday, actually. I owled the landlord and he told me that if I wasn't in the flat by the end of the month he'd have to let it to someone else. So...yeah."
When Ron told him he was moving this weekend, Harry blinked and nodded. He'd kind of been expecting it -- obviously -- Ron had said he'd put a deposit down, or something, and that had been a couple weeks ago. "Oh," he said. "Yeah, mate. Course you are."
Harry wanted to support Ron in whatever he needed to do; the last time they'd talked, they'd cleared a few things up. But he knew things were still really tense between him and Hermione. "So," he frowned and reached back to scratch the back of his head. "D'you need, erm, anything?"
Harry didn't sound terribly surprised, which was good. Despite being, supposedly, the most rational of the three of them, Hermione could be scary and, Ron thought, somewhat irrational when she was upset with someone - which she seemed to be most of the time, lately, toward ron.
He gave Harry a significant look. "Was wondering if I could take my bed with me, y'know? Mostly because 've got used to sleeping on it. I mean, I could transfigure something into a bed, for now, but it wouldn't be the same." He took a deep breath. "And I was hoping you'd tell Hermione for me, about this. Because she and I can't seem to talk lately without getting into a row."

If asking that made him a coward, so be it.
