Wednesday was my last day of work until the new year, and it was an easy day. Since the students were doing holiday stuff, I only saw the die-hard kids, and I had fun jamming with them. ...about the pre-holiday stress. The things we put ourselves through! Usually the fun is worth it, though (hopefully!). And I know all about the "crazy cleaning person" persona, too. Mike has learned it's best not to fight it, and just gets out the vacuum to help. I think he figures that's the safest chore - it takes a long time (we have cats), so I hate doing it. And since it takes a long time, he's pretty well assured I'll have the worst of the mess picked up by the time he's done. :)

You should see our post-Christmas house. It's a total disaster! I have no idea where we are going to put all this stuff, and the kids are busy scattering it around as fast as they can.
