I had to read this twice to start with as I find the "you" perspective a difficult one to handle normally, but it was worth it.

One of my favourite lines was "Also, never had you pegged as a High Fidelity person, not enough explosions or aliens for you, I'd have thought."

I think you captured drunken Connor in the aftermath of Tom's death very well. And I liked Stephen's sober POV, as well. The accusations of flirting with everyone, and the denial, was great. Oh and the sex was hot too *grins*. Thanks.

Thank you. I had this weird thing where everything, and I mean everything including essays, was written in 2nd person and it really started to annoy me. But it actually worked for a few really good fics.
I'm glad you felt it was worth it, it took an age to write.
Have to be honest the High Fidelity thing is in there because it's High Fidelity's fault this fic was written in the first place.
To be honest he does flirt with everyone, seriously...
And I'm glad the sex was hot, you wouldn;t believe how long it took to get them up those damned stairs!

Stephen does have the most flirtatious eyelashes I've ever seen on a man! And I agree with Telperion, the handling was sensitive, as well as hot. It was worth the time it took to write.

Well I'm glad it seems that way! I'm happy with the way it turned out and yes Stephen's eyelashes are seriously flirtatious, I've always wondered why men seem to have better eyelashes than women, it's highly annoying!

This is actually a very sensitive look at what Connor might have been feeling after Tom's death. Both Connor and Stephen seem totally in character.

And the fact that there's hot smut is just an added bonus!

I was a bit worried that the excessive drinking was a bit ooc, but apparently that might just be me worrying!

I think that's why fanfiction is harder to write than original fiction, you have to stay true to the characters, but you did an excellent job :D

I can see what you mean. I personally find original more difficult to write, it's some weird hink in my personality, all my female characters become me and all my male characters become whatever person I'm fixated on at the time, unless I actually really seriously sit down and plot out their entire journey and personality first. With telelvision and movie, I find it sorta easier, because I tend to deconstruct the characters whilst watching whatever it is, or reading it, so I can kinda build up a profile. Also I tend to just go with it, and hope it turns out okay.

Oh! So tragic and hot at the same time! Wonderful. The dodo episode made me cry and gave me Stephen/Connor bunnies, so this fic strikes a real chord with me.
