I'm teaching an honors intro chem class this semester, which has been a fair amount of extra work, as no one had made any actual plans for the section. Well, there were some plans, but the planner left for another job right before the semester ( Read more... )

I had to shell out $18 for a visor (from t-visor.com the website that sells nothing but boba fett visors!) Attempts to make my own weren't going well, and I realized that you sometimes have to suck it up and spend some money. The visor purchase did nearly double the money I spent on the whole thing. Spent the weekend making a Boba Fett costume for the boy. Cardboard, hot glue, foam board, and paint. I'm most of the way done, got to finish the chest armor, knee pads and rocket backpack.
