"I know. It's why I haven't stood you up in at least a month." Actually, it had probably been longer, but Roger tended to get his schedule all confused and double booked other appointments with times he was going to see Lily, who always won out there. He should really look into hiring someone to take care of that.
"How've you been? Did you make it to the reunion?" He really should have looked before he got distracted.

She was never one to hold grudges of Roger's missed lunches. She knew that the was very busy and that his daughter was very important to him. She was used to her personality and the way he worked by now she she just shook it off. Now if it was a boyfriend and he was leaving her to see another girl, that would be a different story.
Oh good, he brought up the reunion and not the murder that took place, that made her feel better. "I did make it to the reunion. I mingled and such, nothing to exciting happened to me. It was nice to see some people tough," she said and quickly ordered a water from the waitress before moving on. "Other than that I'm well. We've been looking over some artifacts from Mexico a team sent back, and thankfully no accidents yet. What about you?"

"What kind of artifacts? Something that's going to rewrite history?" Roger always teased her about it, but he was actually quite impressed with Mandy's line of work. It was definitely interesting, at least most of the time. Maybe it was just the Ravenclaw in him.
"The reunion wasn't bad." What he'd seen of it, anyway. "I haven't been doing much. Practice. I'm going to see Lily later. More practice. Reunion. Had sex with Lavender. Practice again." Maybe if he slipped it in quickly enough, she'd let it go and he could say but I did tell you! when she heard from somewhere else.
