I shall call it, with some levity, the bifocal glasses poll.

Remember how a few days ago in comments I was whining that I didn't feel like writing anything at all, that I couldn't even write fanfic because none of my fandoms were inspiring me? Well, apparently that was before I spent the last two days reading the two Dunnett novels I got off BookMooch.

Poll Just humor me here...Don't worry, though -- even if I do write it it won't ( Read more... )

johnson johnson, dorothy dunnett, polls

You left out a choice for old fuddy-duddies like me:

I don't know what in the world you're talking about! (grin)

Yo! *loves Jay* My preference for Joanna fic is mild, however. She gets loyalty points. Beltanno fic would also be nice.

It may be time for a reread soon.

Cally, off to do a stint as Cupcake Bird

Oh, please, please, please... (major puppy dog eyes here). It still kills me that we didn't get the JJ/Joanna fic from Dunnett. I care! I asked if you knew of any JJ fics a couple years ago after reading all the Johnson Johnson novels. Not to put any major pressure on here, but you did bring it up. ;-)

How could I have forgotten that you love JJ too? *clings* Forgive my poor memory.

Everybody's voted for Joanna, but right now only Beltanno is speaking to me. (INTJ women of the world, unite?) However, I wouldn't be surprised if Joanna has something to say after Beltanno's had her turn. In which case this story is going to turn into one of those "Five Things" AU fics, or perhaps I should just give in and call it Choose Your Own Johnsonian Matrimonial Adventure. :)

I'm greedy enough for JJ fic that I'll read whatever. I may need to get the last book from the Library in honor of impending fic. ;-) You remind me that actually purchasing the books might be a good idea since libraries are purging so many older books all the time.
