Isn't something so much missed, but based on seeing Scarecrow & Mrs. King in your icon! Were you a fan? What was your favorite episode?

I was a big fan, yes. Wrote fanfic and everything, at the tender age of thirteen. (Mercifully none of it survived the Great Fanfic Purge of 1988.)

It's been such a long time now that I have little recollection of most episodes, but I do remember being thrilled by "Weekend" when it first aired, and cassette-taping the audio track so I could listen to it on my headphones while lying in bed and replay the episode in my mind. :)

Darn, wish I could remember which one "Weekend" is. It's funny how I can't remember so many episodes, but some, like Ship of Spies, I have practically memorized.

And it's too bad you lost all the fanfic you wrote for it! I've lost some of the stuff I wrote before I was 13 and I regret not having it... even if only to mock myself.

"Weekend" was one of the earliest really shippy episodes, where Lee and Amanda had to pose as a married couple on a retreat weekend. She made the mistake of telling someone that they had been married "not that long, really" and they got pegged as newlyweds and expected to behave accordingly, much to Lee's eye-rolling chagrin. At the end of the episode Amanda got injected with poison by the heavily-accented bad guy and Lee had to rush her to hospital...

So where do you live? *grin* I know it's in Canada, but where, exactly?

How long are your fans going to have to wait for THE CASE OF THE WINNING WOMAN to be completed?

If you can make it through the dangerous waters of medical jargon for your House fiction, I'm sure you can navigate the gentle wading pool of Victorian insurance laws..

Very kind of you to ask, but it's not going to be worked on any time soon, I'm afraid. I have not yet given up on Knife, so any time I spend on original work is going to be aimed in that direction until further notice...

If Scarecrow and Mrs. King is one of them, what are the other three?

Remington Steele, Airwolf and (gulp) Manimal. They weren't the first shows I loved and watched on a consistent basis (that honor would go to Doctor Who and The Greatest American Hero), but they were the first ones I wrote fanfic for.
