Summary: A Halloween party is being held in a secret location. There's live music and plenty of alcohol. Fancy dress is optional.

The directions on the flier weren’t hard to follow. The party was being held in a club that had previously been closed down - as far as he was aware - but was no longer monitored. The pounding music from below wasn’t obvious from street level, but upon descending the hidden - though he didn’t think it was too well - stairway, the bass vibrated along the floors, up through your feet into your body

He wasn't happy at all. So much for his dignity, that had gone straight out the window when he'd descended the stairs of his apartment building and his landlord just happened to be standing in the stairwell speaking to another tenant. At first the man didn't recognize him, but seeing Lavi all dressed in Elegant Gothic Aristocrat style holding his hand, the man's eyes bugged under his thick glasses and he grinned, almost lasciviously. Kanda wanted to stab him, but unfortunately he'd left Mugen in his apartment at Lavi's insistence

He had been so tempted to just not go to the party once Kanda was dressed; it had taken restraint he didn’t even know he possessed to not drag the other to the bedroom, or even shove him against the nearest wall, and ravish him. But he’d managed it, and they’d got Kanda’s hair and makeup done and now they were here.

They were already getting looks, well, Kanda was, which really didn’t surprise him in the slightest - the dark-haired man made a very convincing, and damn hot, woman, though he wouldn’t say that out loud. A slight glare at some of the more risqué looks sent in Kanda’s direction and Lavi tugged the other man to the bar, leaning against the end and waiting for the bartender to come and serve them. He had to admit, really, that he couldn’t stop looking to Kanda, making sure the image committed to his memory was perfect

Damn it. He was drawing far too much attention for his liking. Almost every single person around him seemed to stare, or perhaps that was just his paranoia that someone may recognize him. He really doubted they would, because he normally didn't go to parties at all. Most people would probably assume he was some chick Lavi picked up, though he wasn't exactly ecstatic about that idea.

Each time someone stared, he met their gaze with an icy glare. That usually sent the onlookers on their way quickly. Anyone who happened to check Lavi out got an even more dangerous glare. It must have been odd, for someone to see a Lolita with a permanent scowl and murderous rage in 'her' eyes. He had to admit Lavi looked extremely sexy in his Gothic Aristocrat costume. He'd get to tear Lavi out of it later, and he smirked.

He glanced up when Lavi spoke. "I don't care what the fuck it is, as long as it's straight and with a proof of at least 40% alcohol. I want something strong, now."

Zexion was so unsure about the part due to the noise and people that would show. He despised such social events but he may get lucky and have no one to talk to. Zexion had found the flyer Dem had and wrote down the address to get there as he came directly from a long day at work. He knew it was a Halloween party but the effort of dressing up was far beyond him. Zexion was curious of the cities nocturnal side, so he would not turn around and walk right back to the loft Demyx and him seemed to share right now.

He just stood outside the entrance before finding a place to lean. He'd wait for Demyx. His enthusiasm was to low to go in by himself, but he watched others; some alone, some in couples or groups move pass to enter the nightlife of the party.

"ZEXY!" An excited giggle, and Demyx pounced on the other, wrapping arms around his neck to half-hang off the shorter man's shoulders; he hadn't actually expected Zexion to show up, and couldn't help being excited. "You came~~!"

Of course, Zexion wasn't dressed up, but that wasn't a surprise. Demyx himself had decided at the last minute that he had to go as Aquaman. Had to. So he was wearing the typical outfit for the superhero, though it was painfully obvious by his excited bouncing and giggling who it was behind the mask.

Zexion wasn't paying attention. Zexion was in his own world at the moment fighting over himself on why he exactly was here." Gyah! Demyx!" His body jerked when he heard his name before being taken off balance by the pounce, stumbling a bit to catch his feet under himself. After a few seconds, he resumed stable and supported the others form. " Unfortunately.." His brow lifted at what the other was wearing before giving his head a shake, going back to reminding himself that it was a Halloween Party when people dress up in the most silliest things.

"Haha~" Demyx made a happy noise, smiling sideways at Zexion, and squeezed his arms around him slightly in a half-hug; he had been looking forward to the party already, but having a friend that he knew there made it even better. "I'm happy though, I really wanted you to come with me~" :3

"Heh, Kaoru you're so cute in that!" Hikaru allowed himself a girlish giggle, but only because of how he was currently dressed; in a commoner's school uniform. A commoner's girl's school uniform, complete with pleated skirt and sailor collar. Halloween parties were awesome.

They were approaching the place where the party was being held, and he cast a glace over at Kaoru; his brother was wearing a wig (so was he) that matched his natural hair colour, and it was pulled up into pigtails (whereas his was in a normal ponytail) that made him want to go aww... and then there were the knee socks.

Knee socks. Somehow he thought he'd managed to find a new little turn-on.

Logically, he knew they were identical, but how could that be true when Kaoru was just so... so... so cute! A grin, and he leaned to kiss his twin's cheek. "Almost there, neechan~!"

The only problem with the outfit he was wearing (so far) seemed to be the pockets; they existed, at least, but were hidden among the pleats of the skirt. Hikaru figured if he was wearing it every day for school, as was it's intended use, he'd get used to it, but as it was he had to fumble to find his wallet. He was sure he looked like he was concentrating very hard... and looked very silly.

"Stupid thing. Should've brought a purse."

The comment was something most guys probably would never say in their lifetime, but given that it wasn't the first time Hikaru and his brother had crossdressed, it probably didn't seem as strange as it should have.

"Aha!" Locating his wallet, he pulled it out quickly to pay their entrance, and then returned it to the Pocket Of Doom, hoping that he'd be able to find it again later when he needed it. "Iko~"

Ryuuzaki was glad that he didn’t have to walk down the streets or anything like that. The he could easily get a lift to where he wanted to go. Staring out of the window, watching people and street names pass by almost in a blur

Mello didn't understand it, he'd been inside now looking for Ryuuzaki for what felt like forever to someone that wanted to leave. He hadn't bothered with a costume, he didn't see the point really when what he wore everyday seemed like a costume to so many people.

He was about to leave when a figure that looked like neon cotton candy caught his eye. He stared at Ryuuzaki with utter disbelief.

"What, the fu-" he never finished his sentence as the teacher turned and noticed him.

"I....brought the....papers...you - HAHA!" Mello errupted into fits of laughter so violent that he doubled over and cried with laughter.

"You....what...," he tryed to speak but this was just to funny. Unable to calm him self sufficently he extended the arm which held the papers towards the other man. They shook involentary as Mello calmed to simple giggles.
"Just take them so I can go!" He managed to get out before wiping tears away from his cheeks.

Ryuuzaki had managed to find a place to sit before it got too crowded. It was early in the night, and yet the place was filling up quicker than people left his classroom. He had been looking around for a particular person. But, he didn’t see him. Maybe he wasn’t here. But would Light really not come? No, maybe Kira would, maybe he just hadn’t arrived yet.

Sighing to himself he fell still as he spotted a blonde haired guy that looked extremely familiar. And who happened to be looking at him. Oh great just what he needed. Mello standing there laughing at him. Ryuuzaki reached over and snatched the papers from him. Looking at what was down on them. Smirking and looking back up at Mello he slowly shook his head.

“You aren’t going Mello.”

He’d brought a bag along with him. Rummaging through it and pulling out a black witches outfit. With a twist. Leather straps going around the body like belts. And the hat was made from it aswell. Looking at Mello’s shoes he nodded.

“Here. Put this on.”

Mello's laughter suddenly stopped and he snapped back to his usually deadpan yet aggresive demeanor.

"What?" Surely Ryuuzaki wasn't serious......

"Do you seriously expect me to wear that?" he raised an eyebrow and noticably twitched. There was no way! What if someone saw him dressed that way! And he didn't even really want to be here......the music wasn't bad though.....
Wait what? NO he wasn't going to do this he was leaving! But......Ryuuzaki was still holding out the dress...

"What? misery loves company or something?"

Stepping out of the cab, Nuriko walked toward the club. Knowing the bouncer paid off, because with a simple smile the bouncer let him pass, ahead of the line of people waiting to get in

He'd never been one for going to parties and the such, but Dante had just insisted vehemently for the past few days... so he'd caved and said yes. Plus what his twin wanted to dress as he said he just NEEDED Vergil to go as this certain character, not that he knew who either were. He didn't keep up to date with movies and the like. On the other hand, the costume was actually quite nice and Vergil oddly approved of it

Dante could not believe his luck. Not only had he convinced his anal brother to go to a Halloween party, he had even managed to talk the guy into going as Norrington from Pirates of the Caribbean. Obviously, annoying the crap out of your twin brother can go a long way --long enough to get him into brocade and tights, which was even better. Dante was certainly not immune to Vergil's dashing looks, especially when his brother at the guts to strut around with that ridiculous hat and the old-fashioned saber. (On a second thought, perhaps letting Vergil bring a blade to a party was not a good idea

There were so many beautiful costumes! People really had put a lot of effort into them and he grinned widely behind his red fan. The twin schoolgirls amused him greatly, as well as the pink fairy. He giggled as two new faces walked in, one as Commodore Norrington and one as Captain Jack Sparrow. Now those costumes most certainly deserved some sort of prize, for they were beautiful and very screen accurate, especially the one dressed as Jack.

It seemed the one in the Jack costume had seen him, for he swaggered up to him, quite in character, and hit on him. He was quite certain the other thought him to be female, however. He waved his fan demurely before his face. "Well hello Captain, my name is Nuriko. And you?" If the other man was hitting on him, he may as well play along. It would make things much more interesting.

He may have recognized Dante if he hadn't been wearing a wig and false beard, but there was still something familiar about the man. Perhaps they had met before, but he was not entirely sure.
