Writing after nanowrimo (and just when you thought the word count bars were all gone)

1031 / 60000 words. 2% done!

So, I am going to edit The Mad Queen and I am going to also work on my urban fantasy. I gave myself five days of no writing, but now I am going to get back on it. Gah! You had to bring up world building. My attempts to finish my fanfic are being stymied by the fact that I'm trying to do world-building and a little editing and write the ending at once. Obviously this isn't working. I get to shut off everything else and write the ending. It will probably only take a week. But world-building and character building and everything has sort of creeped back into my brain and have smuggled the inner editor along with them.

It's just easier some days to brainstorm possible ways to process algae into something resembling edible food and calculate the amount of aquaculture that would be required to sustain a population of 50,000 than it is to wrap up the story. Sigh...

Yay world-building, but you need to finish! How many words/chapters do you think you have to go?
