Tolkien fandom love always comes back around for me, every few months or so. It's hard not to when it was my main fandom for a decade and then, a beloved series of books in childhood before that. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Carrie. I bet she will get through that surgery with no problems. She's a tough fighter. :D I'm glad to hear that she has gotten stronger since the horrible, terrible ordeal of last year.
I got my tickets for AZ too, even though I'm not sure if I can get off work. Hopefully I'll know soon.

And yeah, we had a scare with Carrie last night (she pulled her own gtube in her stomach out) so there was a surprise trip to the ER. B/c that's how my family rolls.
