So, PBS is currently re-playing Ken Burns' The Tenth Inning which is basically a sequel to his amazing 1994 Baseball documentary. So, true story about me: Baseball documentaries always warm my heart and make me have a good cry. I sob like a baby EVERY single time I hear Lou Gehrig's speech, which, growing up a born-and-bred Yankees fans, means I've

In fandom news: I seriously want a White Collar spin-off of Keller being the evil smug bastard that he is. Ross McCall does a great job in the role.
FUCK YES. I actually said the same thing on my LJ, haha.

That being said, I do like to watch basketball in-person. Out of all pro-sports it's the one I've attended the most games for. I still have yet to go to a Bobcats game, but I went to SO many Hornets games in the past.
I own all the 3 Ninjas movies, I will forever love the Big Green, and The Sandlot is one of my favorite movies of all time.
Seriously, Ross McCall as Keller is just so smug-bastard-amazing.

Oh, yeah, definitely I think every high school did this. My teachers did this all through school and half the time we'd just sit and watch the games and not even bother about class. I remember this year that school and work was let out early so everyone could go home and watch the Buckeyes play in the Sugar Bowl. America sure likes its sports. I can definitely understand the Duke-Carolina thing. Being that I'm from Ohio, Ohio State-Michigan gets crazy (my sister lives in Columbus near the Schottenstein and the football field and, man, when Michigan comes to town it's effing insane).

I do agree, though, that you sort of have to grow up in USA and, like, Cuba and Japan to get the intense baseball love. It's just what you grow-up with, you know? And a lot of Americans can't stand it b/c "it's so slow, it's so long, nothing exciting happens." But, you know, I can't stand American football, so I guess it balances out.
Carrie is a tough chick, indeed.
I do find it funny that in this past year, both Eion Bailey and Ross McCall have appeared on USA Network shows that aired back-to-back.
