Where did this month go

Oct 21, 2010 22:35

I have two student loan payments that are close to $500 combined and def. will not have that money by the end of month/time they are due. This very much sucks. I need another pay period. Since I'll only be, like, $85 short, I am seriously tempted to like, I don't know, scrounge the house for all the buckets of change we have and bond with the ( Read more... )

real life, tolkien, spy speirs, family, bas and mas get you nowhere but debt, war fandoms, fandom

That's so odd because I just read an interview with Martin Freeman like two days ago and he said he had to turn down the roll because it conflicted with the filming for season two of Sherlock...

I hope your mom is ok.

Hmm, it could either be an old article, Martin Freeman was being coy, or b/c it will probably take so long for The Hobbit films to actually start shooting it won't run in conflict with the second series of Sherlock.

And thank you. The doctor pretty much gave her a worst-case/best-case scenario so we'll see what the testing shows.

You're probably right... Oh well, as long as Sherlock comes out next year, I don't care. XD I'm too in love with that show.

Ah, yeah, I guess they're supposed to do that. I'm sure it's fine! :)

I know, it's kind of mind-bendng.

I mean, you just have to roll with it I guess. I just look to one of my family friends, who has MS, whose husband is blind, said husband in a long recovery from a horrible accident, and who is having to pull the plug on one of her brothers tonight. We may have some bad luck going on right now, but all and all, we've got it great compared to some.

It's a feast or famine life for me. Builds charater, I guess. I'll take all the stress as long as we all get out alive, you know? And def. let me know when you're back in the States.

Lipton once complained to Speirs about how Luz and Popeye always stole his decent mugs. And lo, the mug collection came into being. I obviously took a lot of time away from it these past few months, but now, finally, getting back into the creative state.

Oh hush. Character building they say. I really hope you find something else though! Holidays are coming up, can they increase your hours?
In the mean time, I just got another call today for a part-time job....WHERE WERE ALL THESE OFFERS OVER 7 MONTHS?? I had even gotten another call for one in the same week when I got the 2 full time offers -_- FML.

I'm hearing a lot of well known names attached to The Hobbit and as much as I love the Martin Freeman and Richard Armitage *pant* that concerns me a little I must admit. I guess I wish it could be LOTR with talented unknowns, oh well, c'est la vie...

Glad to hear about the creative vibes!! Mine is an evil laugh.

Hey, I've got enough friggin' character to build my own section of Disney World. I've honestly started to look at some more full-time jobs, to keep HT on as part-time during the weekend. But seriously, where were these jobs earler? WTF?

I mean, on the one hand, Martin Freeman and Richard Armitage are not like, the hugest names to a world-wide audience, but I'm with you. So many of the LotR actors were unknowns.

Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
