First off, they made a Ghostfacers webseries, which I had to find out through a CSI fansite. It still manages to contain many of the problems that we all know exist with SPN in general, and yet I'd still pay good money for an actual full Ghostfacers spin-off ( Read more... )

Why would he kill you? I thought he was coming with his girlfriend...couldn't they take turns driving?

I have yet to see Invictus - it does look good. SA has come so far and yeah, Mandela will go down in history as one of those people. Shit, the Catholic Church have sainted people for less. Outstanding.
I'll add it to my watch list since I'm watching so much movies nowadays...

Which channel is Operation Homecoming on? I got the Military Channel recently. Daaammmnn!

Girlfriend is not coming. He's driving a cargo van up here from CLT starting on Monday night when he gets off work at 10:00pm, driving as far as he can until he needs to crash. He'll get here that tuesday, we'll load up the van and leave Wed. driving back to CLT, hopefully get there Wed night or Thursday morning and he has work again on Friday. So, yeah, he's going to kill me.

I urge you to watch Invictus soon. I learned a hell of a lot about rugby, but also a ton more about SA at that time. I am all for Mandela getting the special pass to Sainthood.

Operation Homecoming is actually a documentary. Well, it was originally a book, but then they caught up with the Vets who wrote the pieces and made the docu. Apparently it was nominated for an Oscar. It's only about 1 hr, 25 mins, but it's just so well done. Brutal, in a sense, def. heartbreaking, but one of those things I think people NEED to watch.

Yup, all from Netflix. Pretty much if you ever see me talking about a movie or tv show on here I just watched, it's from Netflix, since, you know, the only tv station I watch up here is PBS. I have no USA or FX or AMC or anything other than the most base of basic. Still, for $7/month, can't complain all that much.
