First off, The Hobbit film-making/Tolkien estate lawsuit has been settled. This is very happy making. The movie is one step closer to a reality.

Second, I am currently doing my first listen-through of A Fine Frenzy's new album, Bomb In A Birdcage. I was going to hold off on buying it, but amazon has the MP3 download of

I've been waiting to hear the first album but just never got around to it...one day, one day...

I want a Fall of Gondolin movie. Or a movie with Gondolin period, but I'd really like a Fall of Gondolin movie. Badly. Even if I have to hire someone to write the screenplay myself. I offer myself up for doing intense research. I don't know if we will ever get it, but I think there might be a tiny chance if The Hobbit film does well we will have more Tolkien-themed movies in the future. Or a mini-series. God, I'd kill for a well written, well done, mini-series.

AFF's first and second albums are quite different. You might like the new one better. Maybe.
