Once again I say people must realize that in a country which prides itself on "Freedom" no one has the right to take away someone's happiness. No one has the right to decree who you can and can not fall in love with. And no one should have the right to say who you can and can not marry. Therefore, I, like many others, post this:

Second of all, if we allow same sex marriages, what's to stop the next step from being 3 people getting married? Or what about a man marrying 10 women? If we can't judge "love" then how can we judge if they really love each other. And then there will be 10 women getting the health and government and tax benefits from one man? If we contine to compromise the constitution and the Bible the world will become even more messed up than it already is and the amount of financial support having to to be offered to these people in their "relationships" will far exceed the amount of money that our government has to work with.
Zeus isn't real.

and when I said "By" I meant "But" and I am sure you can see where this is going...and "Stumbled" when I meant "stumble." There is a reason I did not major in English.

My whole deal with all this (other than what you've already pointed out) is everyone trying to get the government to create laws to prohibit gay marriage. Hellooooo! Separation of church and state, people? At least the French got that right (not that I'm bashing the French, they are very wonderful people and not the mean type everyone makes them out to be). Marriage takes place in a church, essentially. So why the hell are there people trying to ban it with laws? I don't get it, and I probably don't want to.
All I really have to say is tolerance people, tolerance. If we can accept women in voting, African Americans and interracial marriages, why can't we accept gay marriages? Pursuit of happiness, indeed. I'm not voting for the man currently in office when November comes around, I assure you that. I say it's all his fault.

I'm not voting for Bush either. In fact I've been going on about that since he was elected the first time and I was in High School then. Did he handle the "War" well. Granted, I give credit to his speech writers. Is he representing the American people as a whole very well? No, not at all. And I'm not just talking about the marriage issue here. I'm talking about people on welfare and those who will get no relief from the purposed Medicare plan and also the Patriot Act.
I just wish a multi-racial, bi-sexual, half-Jewish woman would become President. Maybe, that way, some issues could become resolved.
