I continue to be very impressed with the food in this town. So much deliciousness all around! On principle, I'm trying to eat out less now that we're settled in our apartment, although the value proposition of that principle is less clear when you're setting up a kitchen from scratch. I am very much looking forward to seeing your new place.

Maybe while we are there (this is my excitement at the prospect getting out of hand given it's ages away), you can teach me how to cook something? I aspire to your social skills.

Many (many!) baby steps (collectively) look like heroic strides, with the addition of time lapse photography.

(Having written it down it seems like something we all should remind ourselves of regularly: lots of small steps might not feel like making much progress, but with the benefit of hindsight it's obvious we've come a long way from where we were.)
