It's a new financial year, so it's performance review season here at work. Like the end-of-calendar reviews I do annually in my 'real' life, I look forward to the enforced reflection that this involves. I'm often surprised by the results. I know what you mean: my fixed-rate mortgage comes up in October, at the same time as the tax cut. Is the tax cut coming up in October going to impact your income favorably?

It will, so that's something. I wouldn't have voted for a tax cut, but I'm not going to turn it down.
