Making chocolate cake from scratch on a Friday night because nothing else would do for a certain Girl's 10th birthday clebration. This is the first cake of a two cake baking night, as she wants a black and white torte and I own only 2 nine inch round cake pans. She helped me make the first cake, so of course it took a bit longer than expected. I
