From today until the 28th(next Sunday), a new set of arrivals will be wandering the island. What are they, you might ask? Things from your characters canon home. What things? MONSTERS. For example, Yoma from the Claymore world, maybe Chimera from the Full Metal Alchemist world, Akuma from the D.Gray-Man world, Dementors from Harry Potter, you get the idea.
They will be everywhere, doing what they do. Do the monsters from your canon randomly attack people on the street? Well, they're doing it in Rivelata, now!
However, we realize that some Monsters can only be destroyed by certain materials or weapons. For example, Akuma can only be destroyed by innocence, and the only person with Innocence in Rivelata has a defensive Innocence that cannot attack them. But if Akuma showed up, this would be a problem, as they would have this whole island dead pretty fast. So to remedy this, Monsters with this specification will be altered for the island. Instead of just ONE specification to kill them, like the Akuma have, anyone with a specialized weapon can kill them. For example, Rise and Mitsuru from Persona may be able to kill them with their Evokers, or perhaps the Keyblades from Kingdom Hearts, or someone with a strong magic ability. Please remember to keep this reasonable to your characters current strength in Rivelata during this week.
The reason for these all to be wandering the island creating havoc during this week is currently unknown, but as the week progresses, it will slowly be revealed!
Just so that people are aware of what monsters are running around the island, please comment here with ones you are deciding to have arrive in Rivelata. I will continually edit this page so that there is a list of who these special guests are. If you could, please give a link to a Wikipedia article, or copypaste a bit of info, or summarize what they are, just so others who don't know them have a general idea of what that monster is.

Encountering these monsters is also a MODERATED EVENT and will follow the same format as FRIENDLY MONSTERS.

- AKUMA See Here. STRONGLY ADVISED TO NOT BE SHOT BY AN AKUMA. IT IS LETHAL. CHARACTERS WILL TURN TO DUST.
- YOMA are a species of humanoid monsters, believed by some to be a type of demon, that coexist with humans, feeding on their internal organs. Most are similar in size to humans, though some are noticeably larger and more heavily muscled. Most have rows of stubby spikes growing from their upper backs, with elongated limbs that end in clawed digits, large fang-filled jaws and pointed ears, giving them a bestial appearance. Yoma have greater strength, speed, and durability compared to humans, being capable of extending their limbs and digits, and are capable of both regenerating after being wounded and shape-shifting to appear completely human. Taken a step further, they can eat a human's brain to absorb their memories and completely replace them. Yoma are identified by their 'yoki', or life energy, which can be sensed by other yoma and by claymores.
- KISHIN EGGS Evil human souls. Possibility of becoming a Kishin.
- GAY SAILOR MOON MONSTERS Revert to memories of your childhood for this one.
- SAIBAMEN In the words of Famine: "They grow from the groooound. And shoot acid from their heads. AND SELF-DESTRUCT."
- GIANT PREYING MANTISES They wreak dumb-animal havoc and are mostly just here to eat. If you have a thatched roof you might be screwed, just saying. But they're not especially powerful or intelligent or anything other than a TEN-FOOT-TALL PREYING MANTIS. Or maybe a two-story bull.
- VARIOUS BLEACH MONSTERS Courtesy of Diana!
- YAN. Read up on the adorable little suckers! Don't be fooled by the cute-- they're aggressive! Its Comet spell is deadly. Rest assured anyone hit with it will be hospitalized for a few days, at the very least. If you are hit with Snort, you will be blown blow away. Hard. You might break some bones.

Encountering these monsters is a very special thing! You won't know off-hand whether they are friendly or not.... If you attack them, they will flee. If you let them have the first word, however, you may find the encounter to be ... well, a little more pleasant than you anticipated!
They will be asking for random items. Generally, you should encounter these friendlies in the order they are listed in order to receive the items needed for all of them. It is possible to get lucky and manage to have the item a specific friendly needs without encountering the previous friendly-- but not every time.
Encountering these Friendlies is a MODERATED EVENT. We will be popping up into journal entries with a mod note letting you know that you have encountered a specific Friendly.

Example: "[character name] has encountered [friendly name]! They ask for [blahblah]. What does [character] do?"
"Nina has encountered a Friendly Edward Elric! He looks hungry. What does Nina do?
Nina feeds Friendly Edward Elric a piece of bread and gives him a cup of milk to wash it down.
Friendly Edward Elric is scared off by the cup of milk! Oh no!"

- GIMME CAT FROM FFIX. What an adorable cat! How very cute! I wonder what he wants?
- RAGTIME MOUSE FROM FFIX. He appears randomly and will not attack. Instead, they have a question for you! A very simple question about Rivelata that can be answered with a simple "True" or "False" reply. Answer correctly and collect your prize! Answer wrongly and he'll apologize and slip away....
