Vertigo Visions
VERTIGO VISIONS SIGN-UP!
Once again the options are as follows:
#1) a memory from further in their canon than they were taken (aka a "canon update") -- this must be a memory they would have experienced firsthand in their future canon; their future canon "ends" just prior to their death, if applicable; by "canon update" we still mean that it comes in the form of maximum 3 10-minute visions, which likely means it is not a complete update.
# 2) a memory from one of their previous incarnations within Rivelata (must include a link to the event the memory is referencing) -- this can have been played by a completely different player, or the same player.
# 3) a memory from a canon past OR future life/incarnation -- this includes the Real Thing/Nobody transition, but does not include "clones" that were created from scratch in the likeness of the character
# 4) a memory they already have, but from someone else's perspective within the same memory - this can be either seen through the other person's eyes, or watching from the side, your choice; it comes with all senses and thoughts that would have been happening at the time of the event
# 5) a major-plot psychadellic-style-vision -- only if receiving visions is within the character's powers (this is the only option a player will not write -- the player must request a generic subject and the moderators will go from there; examples include: The Queen, Zikhadhara, Tabsolk & Kapnolt, Ce Monde, The Pirates, The Temple, The Garnet, etc.)
# 6) a memory from an AU version of the character - this includes manga v. anime canon conflicts, dub v. sub conflicts, and (especially for comic-book characters) the myriad of incarnations in movies and cartoons and side-universe comics.
Other guidelines:
- ideally, the visions should make the character "thankful", but this is not mandatory
- It does not have to be for every character; participation for all characters is completely optional - however, every character that does participate must submit their visions to this post.
- all visions MUST fall into one of the six categories
- all visions can be written from either first or 3rd person perspectives
- during all visions, your character can be aware of the fact that they are experiencing a vision, or not, your choice.
- the visions will be initiated by viewing something in the sky (day or night, after the first day) and then immediately experiencing one of the visions if they stare at it long enough; if they are not signed up for the given timeframe, assume they did not stare at it long or hard enough; for blind characters, the visions come the night before the given "start" date below.
- All visions (except Type 5) should have some evidence that they occurred; this can be implied in the canon or Rive-canon, then fleshed out in the vision, but there must be some hint that the scene(s) took place
- There is no limit on number of characters per player that can be entered in the event, but each character can only experience up to 3 separate visions, no more than 1 vision per week.
- All visions can be of any of the 6 types; there is no requirement that they all be of the same type, but they all must be less than 10 minutes in terms of visual length
- All visions can be experienced at any point between the start date of the given week and the start date for the following week, with the "6th week" running until the end of the event (which may turn out to be longer than 1 week; we'll have to see how things go).
- All questions regarding the event should be directed to the previous entry about the visions, leaving this post exclusively for the visions to be approved by the moderators
