WHAT: SOS Brigade Meeting #2: About the cat curse

WHEN: Day 42, dusk
She sat at the head of the table, her excitement restrained behind her crossed arms and manic grin. She wouldn't rush into things this time - not after the first had been so terribly disappointing. For the most part, Haruhi Suzumiya remained composed, perched quietly in her chair.
The table and its chairs were in the same places as the last meeting - all the house's chairs crowded in at every possible angle to accommodate all the club members and possible walk-ins. They had seemed willing enough the first time around... why wouldn't they show up again? But then there was the question of her real club members. Where were Yuki, Mikuru, Koizumi? She shook her head, clearing the doubt away. She was their leader. She had to be strong, sure, undaunted. She was Haruhi Suzumiya, after all. She backed down before nothing and no one. They would come. And if they didn't, who cared? She and Kyon could do it together - they had before, hadn't they? Haruhi turned her eyes to the door, knowing Kyon to be just outside, waiting. If this team failed her... then they would do it together. But for now, she would put her hope in the SOS Brigade.
