Who: Sei sei_what and Lucy jigglingkeys What: Girl's night out! (Ttly not a da- who am I kidding). Also, fancy clothes Where: Some fancy alcohol-serving place or another. When: Saturday night, y'all!
"Probably not," Lucy giggled in agreement. She didn't do many pretend dates with people she didn't like.
Not knowing who Youko was, Lucy couldn't really make an educated argument as to who was better at managing Sachiko, but she couldn't help but think Sei was being far too hard on herself for once.
Blushing slightly, Lucy winked back flirtatiously. After all, wasn't that part of the game? Lucy didn't really dwell on that as she followed Sei into the restaurant.
They walked. That was not much of an understatement, and though the place wasn't that large, the Maitre d' seemed to be leading them past plenty of open tables and toward a rather secluded corner of the restaurant. As they walked, she felt eyes upon her - it probably wasn't common for the folks of this island to see a woman dressed in a suit, and accompanied by another female...
Of course, Sei ignored those looks with the bored ease of someone who spent a lot of time ignoring gawkers. She'd been Rosa Gigantea for long enough that such things didn't bother her anymore.
Of course, the Maitre d' did get a look when he stopped near one of the cornermost tables, safely out of view of most of the restaurant. If Lucy was paying enough attention, she'd probably catch the completely non-hidden 'Oh, really?' in that look... before the gaze unsettled the man enough, he placed the menus down and left with a quietly mumbled "Your waiter will be here shortly

Rather distracted by her date, Lucy missed the strange looks that she and Sei were getting as they strolled through the restaurant, though truth be told she was so used to getting weird looks after her time in Fairy Tail. When someone traveled with a one man strip show, a woman in full armor who could arm all the nations in the world in a heartbeat, a dragon raised boy who ate flames, and a flying cat, people staring was the norm, and when their day job involved battles against evil with hundreds if not thousands of lives on the line it was easy to lose track of the smaller injustices of the world

She would have began explaining, but Sei was rather interrupted by having to take a moment to laugh.
"Lucy, the ID thing was a joke. They don't have a drinking age here," she wondered how Lucy could miss things so easily, sometimes. Of course, thinking about it too much got her back onto the subject of the things she could miss sometimes, which ended up dredging up things she'd rather have never thought of again, so she didn't go too far down that road.
"I don't know, if this was Japan, I'd say he isolated us to spare everyone else in the restaurant. As it is... I'm still not sure if it's that or something else," a shrug, and she grabbed a menu off the table, staring at it to distract herself from her own thoughts. "I'm not going to think about it too much, and I don't think you should either." She really didn't want to think it was some sort of setup. Really.
"I-I knew that!" Lucy declared in her own meager defense, which probably only served to prove Sei's point. She had been distracted was all, and besides, how was she supposed to know what the drinking laws were in another dimension? They could have been anything! That's what she got for trusting Sei
