Anthy's skirts rustled as she glided in out of the cold. She hung her wrap, greeted the gracious hosts with a curtsy, and entered the general mingle with a courtly smile.

Tamaki walked up to the new arrival and bowed slightly. He had held a few parties back when he was in Japan so he figured he would greet everyone the same. "Welcome, my lady." He smiled brightly. "I'm glad to see you could make it. I apologize but I do not think I ever got your name." Tamaki held out his hand to shake hers.
Utena had ambled in behind Anthy like clockwork, balancing a cake box in one hand (courtesy of Angel's Teacloud), and removing her scarf with the other. When the blond boy introduced himself, she smiled and went to stand next to Anthy -- not close enough to be pushy, but enough so that she wouldn't feel crowded.
Utena remembered her saying she didn't like crowds, after all.
Some last-minute prep...reallyiamagirlDecember 21 2009, 14:40:52 UTC
Once Haruhi entered the house, she flew into the kitchen to set the stacks of desserts she had been working for the past few days on a free counter. She made quick work of getting the food organized into its own designated "dessert area." The gingerbread cookies, she placed next to the punch bowl for snacking purposes.
She smiled as she surveyed her handiwork. Not bad at all for three days of work. Two cakes, three pies, two batches of cupcakes, a tray of brownies, and decorated cookies graced the table with a mouth-watering glow hovering around it. She hoped she didn't go overboard.
Rei's eyes widened a little when she came into the kitchen to meet that lovely sight. For a moment, she almost felt homesick. She hadn't expected Haruhi to go all out like this; it was like something Makoto-chan would do.
"Wow," Rei was smiling as she walked over and leaned against Haruhi lightly. "This really looks amazing, Haruhi-chan..."
"Thanks..." she told Rei nervously. "I hope I didn't make too much."
In fact, she liked making stuff for other people to enjoy. This time around, she didn't know how many people to expect so she made everything in bulk. It just turned out to be an extravagant mountain of sweet stuff that could make Hunny-senpai cry in happiness.

Tim nudged a couple of cookie tins under the tree.
Okay, maybe more than a couple.
Okay, so maybe there was one there for everybody he could think of who he knew and liked. He and Ofelia had gotten kinda carried away. And then Clark had pointedly asked which one they were giving to the hosts, so there was the one labeled 'Rei' sitting off to the side.
That done, he slid back in the direction of the leftover cake. No need to make a big deal out of it.
Haruhi entered the room to find Stevie nonchalantly placing more than one gift under the Christmas tree. She watched as he inconspicuously moved away from the tree.
"I thought we were only supposed to bring one gift?"
BTW, probably a bad idea that he's trying to control this. >>totaldrama_kingDecember 22 2009, 02:57:55 UTC
Tamaki cleared his throat loudly, trying to gain anyone's attention that was around him. "Everyone!" He waved, hoping it would be more effective.
"Okay! I wrote down all the songs I remembered from when I learned of Christmas. Commoners enjoy walking around in groups and carolling to any listeners. I know some do it for money but I think we should just do it for celebration!" He spoke as if he was the expert of Christmas knowledge. "Is there anyone here who does not know any of the Christmas songs? I will lend you the sheet if you need it!" He asked.
Haruhi attempting to sing is probably a bad idea too.reallyiamagirlDecember 22 2009, 03:43:24 UTC
"People don't do it for money..." Haruhi grumbled from the cushion she was sitting on. She rolled her eyes as her senpai rambled on.
Haruhi looked around her. Everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves, most of them feeling the effects of the alcohol, and some of them just simply enjoying the company. She couldn't help but smile at the sight.

[Mizore slipped in unnoticed, for the most part. However, when she started sculpting with ice, someone was bound to notice. She couldn't transport them, so she had to do them on the spot. She just hoped they were satisfactory. She was just doing this mostly because Sachiko had asked her to after all.]
[The result was... interesting. She thought it was quite nice. It was a life-like sculpture of Oswald and Sei, only Sei was being glomped. The pose might look familiar to the Sachiko and Sei. Anyone else might just find it amusing.]

There was a tin with Haruhi's name on it, too, and he fished it out. "Does that mean you don't want it, or what?"

"Yeah, anyway. Where did you learn about normal people, Tamaki?"
