Nill made it to the teashop a little drier than Utena had. Maybe her umbrella was a little sturdier, or maybe she was a tiny bit luckier. Her hair and shoulders seemed to somehow make it there dry(along with the tips of her wings; her umbrella couldn't cover them completely), but the rest of her was covered in darker specks of colour from the rain, where it hadn't dried yet. Yet, somehow, she didn't quite mind.

She heard Utena's voice along with the opening and closing of the front door. She came skipping out of the back room, smiling brightly as she made her way across the shop to Utena. Her umbrella was closed in one hand, and Heine's leash was in the other as the dog followed along behind her before he darted forward to sniff at Utena's hand and bark, kneeling down and looking up at her like she were expected to play with him or something.

The words monsoon though, had her blinking a little. Was that like the Tsunami? She tilted her head to the side to look around Utena, and through the glass windows of the store. It didn't ( ... )

Utena paused in the middle of smoothing her hair back down to smile at Nill and wave, kneeling down to scratch behind Heine's ears. "Heh, hi Nill-chan. Hi Heine." The pink-haired girl glanced up at Nill and noted both her confused expression and the staring out the window. Her grin turned a bit sheepish.

"Ehh, I guess I'm not too used to the weather yet, you know?" She held up her mangled umbrella. "It rained in Ohtori, but it usually stopped after a while, heh. This doesn't seem to be letting up at all." Utena scratched the back of her neck and frowned a bit, before shrugging her shoulders. "But I guess I'll get used to it, huh? Say, Nill-chan, what did you want to do today?"

She brought her hands behind her head to stretch a bit, feeling some of the tenseness leave her back. "We can't play volleyball in this weather, and Rangiku-san said to stay out of that jungle place." Utena pulled a face. "Like I'd go in there anyway...it sounds pretty creepy, don't you think?"

Nill looked back over at Utena when she began talking about the weather again. Maybe she was just used to this rain, though. It had snowed last year, around this time. Maybe it was a bit late-coming this time, so in the meantime, it would keep raining until it was cold enough for snow. But then it had rained again when the weather warmed up again... She hoped it would snow again, anyways.

She knew what Utena meant about the jungle, though -- it was a little creepy, but at the same time, it was a little pretty from above. She'd been able to see it when Iggy took her flying, but she hadn't actually been in it. She nodded a little, before looking down at Heine as he shoved his head under her hand.

But then she remembered the others question. There wasn't anything she exactly wanted to do, but with the house as empty as it was, it was nice to get out, even if it was raining. She took a few skipped steps towards Utena and lightly tugged at the girls hand, towards the door.

Oh...huh. Nill was grabbing her hand and tugging her, and so Utena took the hint and started walking toward the door. She was getting a little better at non-vocal cues, but she was still a little slow on the uptake, so it helped when Nill was direct about things like this. She'd eventually get better at it, but for now it took some effort on her part to pay attention.

"Okay, let's go. We can play in the rain with Heine." She paused before she opened the door and said,

"Hey, d'you need my jacket? It's kinda cold out." Nevermind the fact that it wouldn't be a good idea for her to go outside in the damp weather, especially because she wasn't used to it, her primary concern was for Nill. She frowned. "I don't want you to get sick, or anything like that." The pink-haired girl rocked back and forth on her heels.

Nill tilted her head to the side a little, scratching the back of her head for a moment before she shook her head. She didn't need a coat; her dress had thick, long sleeves so she knew she'd be fine. At least, as long as she wasn't out in the pouring rain for too long.

She tugged on Utena's hand lightly, carefully slipping past her to get outside. Heine barked and hurried after her a little more pushy. Nill turned to look over at Utena, waiting for the pink-haired girl to follow.
