The pirate noticed that Basch was getting a little uncomfortable by now, but she didn't seem to pick up on his soft attempt at fending her off -- she was way too forward and strong for this gentle crap.

Instead, she just pushed him further down, manipulating his body to force him sitting on the table.

The way she leaned over him then with her already opened blouse was... definitely taking away from her 'maybe I want a job here' story. A soft, purring sort of sound came from her throat, and her wings gave a quick, excited flutter. "I think you're shivering a little, Captain..." One knee was settling itself onto the table next to Basch's thigh. "What, afraid of me?"

The woman was aware of that fact that some people seemed to think she came on way too strong, and her thick skin and hard head made her able to take being rejected -- if the person she was harassing was actually able to reject her. She was pretty damn strong, after all. A tomboy in disguise. Or something.

Either way, she was definitely exerting that strength and ridiculous attitude right now.

"Cold?" She asked, disregarding everything else he said to her. "I'm hellishly hot." By now she had both her knees on the table Basch had been forced down on, straddling his thighs and pretty well seated in his lap. And she was wearing a skirt. That she purposely let hitch up so far that it seemed to just barely cover her properly by the time she was throwing her blouse to the floor. "I'll lend you my body heat~" The voice came in a sing song tone, her lips so close to Basch's face that they brushed against the corners of his mouth when they moved.

Goddamn her captain kink. She didn't even fucking know what the hell kind of captain this man

From the front room, a sound began to draw nearer. Specifically, a voice. Even more specifically, Jan Valentine's obscene rambling, at its most obnoxious. It pushed its way toward Apollo and Basch, growing louder as it got closer.

"...Looks pretty fuckin' good!" it was saying, when words became clear. "I mean, if you're into that sorta thing. Normal food an' shit. I transcended past all that. I'm a humanitarian now! Which is like a vegetarian, cuz vegetarians eat vegetables... Hey, Bossman!"

It was about then that Jan pushed into the room, his only remaining arm pocketed comfortably in his black jacket. He paused to see Basch already occupied. With Apollo. In a decidedly compromising sort of way. His initial reaction had been something of surprise, a rare genuine expression, but that melted in record time.

A grin replaced it. An utterly delighted grin. Shit did not get much better than this.

"Right in here, Miss Tifa! Found 'im for ya!"

She'd been ignoring Jan's incessant, vulgar chatter, and was eventually reduced to nothing but absentminded nodding as he went on. Really, given that she was used to the sort of language and had a problem with it...she couldn't imagine how Basch dealt with it. He was so straightlaced, after all.

She did shoot Jan a slightly alarmed look at the "humanitarian" comment, and shifted the package she was carrying over to one arm. "Right, that's...fascinating."

The door seemed to open in slow-motion, and after she'd had time to think about it, she would likely find it odd that Jan of all people was the one to lead her to the office, and that he seemed so utterly pleased with himself. It would also cross her mind, on further reflection, that Basch did not seem the sort to have random makeout sessions with strange women in his shop ( ... )

At Jan's familiar voice, Apollo's eyes darted over to him and her head tilted in that direction the slightest bit as well. Her face lost a little bit of the amusement she had seconds before, but it still held up. "Of course..." She murmured. And who was he calling to now?

Oh, a new woman, and oh, she was finally being shoved off. (Wow it had taken Basch quite a long time to fend her off!)

Still though, she couldn't help but squirm a little, if only because it amused her. Basch won out against her half-hearted defiance though, and through her moving about, Apollo was finally seated a little roughly on the floor with her skirt all ruffled around her thighs. For a couple seconds, the redhead didn't quite follow the interactions between Tifa and Basch -- but then, she remembered the wedding band.

And burst into laughter.
