WHO: Apollo & Basch with Tifa & Jan a bit later. /o/ WHAT: Apollo is looking for trouble. And sexily ruins Basch's life? WHERE: THE MANLY BOOKSHOP. WHEN: Some afternoon.
Upon finding the man and having him greet her, Apollo winked and gave him a little, informal salute. Her differently coloured eyes seemed a little interested in her surroundings, but ultimately, it was Basch she wanted to interact with.
"An application?" She echoed, not really following for a second. But this was a new shop, right, application to work there -- "Maybe." Her hands touched the counter then, the multitude of rings on her hands clicking against the surface. She smiled. Might as well be friendly, right? "You're in charge?"
It was true she didn't have a job, but that was because Apollo just took whatever she needed anyway. But he didn't know that.
Oh, a polite one. Well, one generally had to be polite when dealing with customers, but still -- she got the impression that he really wasn't that bad of guy.
She'd see. Besides, it wasn't like she had better things to with her time.
"Sounds fabulous, Captain Basch." She replied, obviously agreeing to the little tour. The look on her face as he said his name was obvious as well -- her smile was bright, made maybe a little devious with those few sharper teeth of hers.
"Apollo Mustow's the name, love." She came close to tacking on some silly title to her name, maybe even just 'gun goddess', but she abandoned that idea.
The woman's eyes watched his gestures as she followed along behind him, only half as interested as she looked. "Not my favourite hobby, but hey yeah sure, they're pretty entertaining and shit." She explained happily with a little wave of her hand.
Somewhere around there, she undid another button of her blouse, starting to get a little low down now. The warmth -- no, it was more than just warmth, it was just plain hot -- was starting to get to her. Not to mention she didn't have a whole lot of modesty anyway.
"'Spose there's no purpose in asking how much you like books then, hmm?" The redhead's voice was suddenly a lot closer than it was before, having moved to stand about a foot away.
"Nah." The wave of her hand suggested she was totally fine with the setting. And though she knew that this was a side effect of the magical candy silliness, she didn't find herself really wanting to bring that up. Might be cuter if he didn't know. "It's always goddamn hot as hell around these parts anyway." A small pause, and then, in a slightly quieter voice, "Even though it's supposed to cool off this time of year and it's getting kind of ridiculous..."
As she spoke, she took advantage of the space he left her to walk by and explore a little like he expected. But the marvel was short lived, as she was turning around and sort of... invading Basch's personal space again.
A laugh was her initial response. "I'll give you cavities."
And then, walking back closer to the door, she didn't exit and instead moved in a direction that Basch probably wasn't expecting. Towards him; not quite looking dangerous, but the resemblance to a playful predator was getting a little uncanny. Apollo didn't know how this would end up, or what exactly she was looking for, but that was how she did things. No thinking, just experimenting. Playing. Games and purposes would fall into place later.
"You sound charming yourself, you know..." Inches away, advancing with her cat like senses guiding her along, she finally noticed the wedding band on his finger.
There was no hiding her delight.
"Married?" Suddenly her hands were pressed to his chest, pushing him back until his body met the table behind him. "How much do you love her, doll? Lady your one and only sugar cube?"

Another smile. "Cute shop, Captain."
