[Tifa hadn't slept well...at all, really. Not since her own nightmare about Sephiroth. So she was in a half-awake state when she heard the noises--not from the journal, but from upstairs. She went from half-awake to wide-awake in a matter of seconds, considered putting on the leather gloves on her nightstand, decided that was an excellent idea, and took the stairs two at a time to Ofelia's room.

Annnd she's cautiously opening the door, mentally preparing herself for what she's going to find.]

...Ofelia?

[and a beat. She notices the other person in the room, immediately goes into a fighting stance before she realizes who it is]

Roy? What are you doing here?

[Looks up and immediately gives a faint smile, making no move to let go. He figures the answer to her question is pretty obvious.]

Hey, Tifa. Sorry I didn't knock.

[Looks up and automatic worry comes onto her face. She gets up, reaching a hand out to take Tifa's.]

I'm all right.

I need to stop forgetting logs ;; /punches self

[She gives Ofelia's hand a little squeeze and leans down to give her a closer look. Checking for bruises, cuts, all that maternal jazz.]

Are you sure?

[her gaze flickers over to Roy, and she gives him a slightly hesitant smile. She likes Roy and all, but this is...strange for her.]

It's okay...I think.
