A smile grew on her lips as she turned her head to glance at her guest, and she held up a small basket of sweets. "The one from the journal, right?" He sure looked it. "You're just in time!" She plucked a brochure from her counter and dropped it into the basket, holding it out as she motioned with her free hand for him to come in.

"Put this together for you. I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, so I just threw in one of everything from the brochure." I think I," she continued as she looked through the basket, "threw in a bit of teafudge, too. That's not in the brochure, but each little bar of fudge has a hint of tea flavour in it. Green, black, Oolong-- I'm not sure how many teas we used." She was getting carried away, wasn't she? She was always too eager to appear helpful. Too helpful. Not everyone who came to her from the journals needed a sample basket of everything. If she kept this up, Remus was going to maim her.

"What brings you out this way, anyway?"

Zidane took a moment to blink and stare, quite honestly taken aback by it all. He read through the brochure on the spot, smile widening to a grin. Magical sweets? Well, this was going to be a memorable one, wasn't it?

Holding the brochure between his teeth, he took the basket, setting it down on the nearest countertop so he could take a good look. And my - it was everything he could have asked for, minus a few personal touches. But he'd planned to add those himself, anyway. He shot a grateful, beaming grin at Lily.

"Fffanks, dissh ish purfick!"

She laughed, tucking her hair behind her ears. Well, he looked satisfied, if not completely awestruck-- not that either was bad. In fact, she quite enjoyed those reactions. It was the awestruck ones that kept coming back. The others? Not so much. 'Baaah, humbug, seen one magical candy, seen them all.' Well, to fudge and back with them; she didn't need those kinds of people in her shop, anyway.

"Glad you approve! I can't imagine what you're up to, but if this was a quick stop before you ran off to heroic duties, I don't want to keep you too long!"

He balanced the basket on his knee, taking the brochure into his hand and rolling it up for his tail to grab onto. Rifling through his pockets, he brought out the appropriate amount of coinage and handed it to her.

"Secret and special, for a special kinda girl," he answered, and bumped the basket back up into his arms. "I've still got a few other things to get ready for the big event, so you'll excuse me if I dash out on you?"
