Crouched on the roof across the way from Robin, Spidey decided to make first contact. "Hey, you flying solo tonight? Didn't think Bats would scrap the buddy system."

Another slide and a jump landed him a perch on the Spider's roof. "Why, you volunteering?"
Always good to sort out who did and didn't think they needed to babysit. Not that he'd mind the company.

"I was just thinking that you were supposed to follow the Big Guy's orders or whatever. Isn't that how your team works?" He was pretty sure it wasn't. Batman wanted cohesion, true, but working as a loner, Spidey was still a little shaky on the group dynamic.
"Not like I got anything better to do."

"Nah," he settled on. "Little more involved than that." Okay, a lot more involved. He started a slow tumble towards the next roof, assuming Spiderman was coming along. "The short answer is, we're partners."
He paused. Batman had said he was solo now, but- "You ever done anything like that?"

Robin slacked his pace, pulled a three-point swing around the corner of the next house, swung past a silent white owl - man, you never saw those in the big city - and landed on a chimney to take a look.
Wow. She was kinda young to be out this late.
Aaaand he'd totally been spotted, hadn't he. Well, that was what you got in bright red and yellow. He gave her a grin and leaned forward on the perch. New town, new people, right?

Hesitating for a moment, she raised a hand in a somewhat shy wave. The white owl swooped down from the sky and landed on the roof next to Robin, studying the boy with curiousity.

Well, Selina Kyle talked to cats.
So he gave the owl a little salute, and then dropped directly backwards into the shadows, behind the chimney and off the house. A little bit of slipping through the shadows later - which is what you got when you had an all-concealing black cape and knew how to use it - he appeared in the alleyway right by Chrome.
"You're out late." The tone was friendly and totally at odds with the full-cape look.
She was hanging onto that thing like she was about to fall over, too. Gee. "Need some help getting back?"

She never went far into town, sticking close to the buildings in the residential district, but walking easily and without fear. While the little girl wasn't scared of the dark, she knew well enough that there was still plenty in the shadows to be aware of.

Alright, mental note, reread journal entries later. In the meantime, if this was a ghost, it was a remarkably normal-shaped one with a pretty even pace. And cute shoes.
Huh. He hadn't met Ophelia in person before. But she'd been the first person in Rive who'd heard from Robin, and he had promised her he'd check in- before he got cursed himself. Right.
He landed on the eaves of a one-story house and leaned out. "You're out kinda late."
He hoped offhand she wouldn't scream or anything.

"Oh!" It was one of the knights (in her mind that was the role they had taken on, superheroes were far from common place in post civil war Spain). The earlier surprise and caution vanished and the tension left her body. "Hola, Senor," she said, smiling up at the boy a few years older than her, "You as well."

"How've you been?"

He grinned beneath the wrap around his mouth. "Seems like there are more and more patrols with each new arrival out here."

... A chatty ninja. And one that wasn't immediately trying to kill him. Well, that was a plus.
"Maybe we should get together, work out a schedule," he threw back, only mocking the guy a little.

Adam snorted lightly. They either freaked out on him or mocked him. Was it the suit? "Maybe, if that's your prerogative," He shrugged.

Hey, so long as he was out here, it was only good sense to meet the neighbors.

A slight movement caught her eye, upon a nearby rooftop. She frowned. Were they wearing... some sort of costume? It seemed terribly familiar.

Six feet away from a girl in black robes. "Oh hi," he greeted automatically. He tried to make it look like he totally knew she was there the whole time.

"Robin?" Rukia questioned simply. A faint breeze blew against the dark fabric of her sundress. She leaned forward slightly, eying him with curiosity and only the mildest surprise.
[ooc: Pardon my fail, I always forget to mention what she's wearing. >_>]

Dick. Robin One. Right. Well, whatever. "Been keepin' your nose clean?" he inquired, grinning a little as he recalled the scrappy girl.
