Smoke gripped Blood's hand tightly as they stepped off the crazy bridge between the two worlds. He took a deep breath and offered her a smile. "Wasn't so bad the second time."
They were to meet up with Lucy and Trust at some point and then proceed to comb the streets looking for their missing friends. It happened all the time in Edensphere, but it didn't mean Smoke was willing to stop hoping for their safety. He'd finished his childish moping and was ready for action, thus the tight grip on his weapon in the other hand.
As the sense of vertigo faded, he looked at the girl beside him. "How're you feeling, Blood? Want a ride?"
