WHO: Maka Albarn, Patti Thompson, Soul Eater. Open to whoever the hell saw Maka's Post and wants to come. WHAT: Ice Skating! WHERE: The jungle's skeleton field. WHEN: Today, evening.
It wasn't hard to get him out of the house when he decided it was something Maka really wanted of him, so he went along with it. He wore his old yellow and blue jacket, one hand pushed into the pocket to keep warm, the other out in the cold air being used by Maka as a means to drag him to the ice rink. He had his usual half-lidded, unamused, and sullen look about him, though he was a little eager to go have fun in the snow after looking for his friend so hard; Black Star would return when the boy himself felt he was ready, Soul supposed, and not before.
He sighed and pounded his way through the snow, keeping up with his technician and best friend with ease, and then they were on a hill that would overlook the frozen pond.
As a lioness hailing from the Pride Lands, a beautiful and (constantly) warm Savannah, snow was definitely not something Nala had ever seen before. So, while she had met this new form of weather with a slight sense of wonder, there was also a bit of unease and confusion in her approach as well. But either way; it didn't look like the snow was going away anytime soon. There was really nothing the queen could do besides try her best to cope.
And besides just trying to cope with the new, strange weather, Nala was still trying to get used to all these strange human activities going on. Humans really were quite the lively little things!
Nala hadn't exactly planned on going skating with the girl who had posted in her journal about it earlier, however -- but as fate would have it, the lioness stumbled upon the frozen pond anyway. She padded closer to the pond when she saw it, snow crunching lightly beneath her paws, and quietly stood at the edge of the frozen water. A curious paw extended to touch the ice

It had been years since Matsuri had ice skated -- and the fact that there was a frozen pond on the island just made it all the more reasonable why she should go and try once more. She wasn't good at it. Sure, she had amazing reflexes, but her sense of balance on a slippery ground was just ... not.
So the Doctor had been the one to suffer through being dragged to the ice rink out in the jungle because Yorito didn't want to go, and neither did anyone else. Which left the Doctor, clearly! And with cloudy skies because of the snow, already shaded by the jungle, it left no reason for her to not go out and enjoy it

One of the very very few things the Doctor could not do was ice skate. In all his many years he had never needed to, and the few times he had had the opportunity to he hadn't been at it long enough to develop any real talent. So, naturally, he'd objected when Matsuri wanted to go ice skating - but Matsuri looked so excited, and it was one of the few times she could go out, so he couldn't exactly say no

Chrona was unsure of just what to expect. They, like Soul, were only present for Maka's sake. The idea of going outside where it was cold and wet, when they would rather be curled up under the blankets, didn't seem like such a good idea. But who knows, it could be fun.
They silently followed Maka into the jungle, stepping in her footprints to avoid the snow. As the pond came into view, Chrona noticed a man and a girl they didn't know, and... a lion?! Snow or no snow, this was still the jungle after all. They froze for a moment before backing away slowly, wide frightened eyes fixed on the big cat.
