Lulu did not know exactly what she was being called to do, but she had a fairly good idea of what Rikku asked. A long time ago, she'd expected to have this conversation with Yuna first: perhaps if Chappu had lived and they had been married, once she'd settled with children and Yuna was taking her own walk down the aisle as a new, unspoiled bride ( ... )

Rikku physically jumped when she heard Lulu's voice, not expecting her to come here so quickly. She nearly ran to the door of her room, and looked down the stairs. "Hey, I'm up here, Lu'." She called out, forcing her voice to not break. She offered the black mage a smile, wrapping her arms around herself in a hug.

"And I'm fine. I promise. I just, I don't know. I'm probably being silly. But thanks for coming." She kept the smile plastered to her face, urging the female up the stairs, Muja coming out and wagging his tail, barking happily.

Lulu made her way up the stairs, shifting away from the dog when it approached her and sitting in a nearby chair. She'd always been more fond of cats.

"Alright." The mage laced her fingers together and leveled her gaze at Rikku. "Shall we begin? What did you want to discuss?"

Watching Lulu shy away from Muja, she sighed, clapping her upper thigh and whistled. "Cdub. Lusa!" She spoke with some authority to her pet, watching the Golden Retriever stop wagging his tail and trot closer to Rikku, licking her hand. But when the black mage didn't even start with the casualities of conversation, she walked over and sat on her bed, immediately pulling her legs to her chest.

"I don't know. I mean, I don't know how to act with Gojyo." She rushed, shaking her head quickly when it didn't come out right. "I mean, I do. But, I've never felt like this towards someone." She finished with that, scrunching her face up. "And... you're experienced. And the only one I know I could trust to ask." She managed to not say anything about her and Wakka, and offered her a small smile.
