Lawl- we never specified, did we? 8D [/idiot]chainsaw_julietOctober 30 2008, 00:36:00 UTC
Could he truly be faulted for treating this young man as Nozomu? It was an honest mistake- their voices were far too similar, anyone could have made the same error. Still, Grell had yelled at the poor newcomer and strict etiquette demanded that he make amends for his rude behaviour.
Grell made his way to the Docks, carrying a bright purple umbrella. He thought it complimented Tieria's hair, you see. The thought made him giggle.
"Bless you." The redhead smiled brightly, holding the umbrella over the lithe young man to ward off the rain. "You must be Tieria. I'm Grell Sutcliff, the silly nutter who mistook you for Nozomu." He held his hand out for a handshake, and the moment Tieria took it he hauled him to his feet. He undid the red cloak he wore and draped it around Tieria's shoulders.
"Come along, love. A cup of tea and some dry clothes will take care of that chill for you." Grell smiled, hoping the poor dear would not be too put off by the rows of sharp teeth.
note: Tieria tends to call people by their full names...for some reason.darth_vedaOctober 30 2008, 01:58:41 UTC
Tieria gave Grell a quick, firm handshake and promptly went about making himself look more presentable, although it was kind of a lost cause at this point. He was quite soggy and forlorn looking from head to toe and had an uncomfortable chill that was quickly remedied by the thick cloak.
Never letting his prideful, strong aura falter, he bent over to slip his damp shoes back on, then straitened up to push the sopping violet hair our of his face. "Yes, I am Tieria Erde. A pleasure to finally meet you in person, Grell Sutcliff." He hinted at a smile, although his cheeks were red with embarrassment from someone taking pity on him, and the minor cold he'd caught probably didn't help him any. Through his foggy spectacles, he noted the redhead's strangely inhuman appearance, but decided it would be polite not to ask questions. He had a feeling he'd be seeing stranger things around these parts

At a distance stood a very disgruntled Nozomu Itoshiki, his hands tucked into the sleeves of his hakama. He squinted through his glasses that were rapidly sliding down his nose. He had followed Grell through the city, carrying his own solemn black umbrella.
Lately Nozomu had detested the thought of Grell being alone with any man but him. But as soon as he laid eyes on Tieria, he wondered how in the world Grell could've mistaken the violet-haired creature for him. Still, his body was slight, and likely weary. He wouldn't complain.
Especially since Grell would give him righteous punishment for doing so.
It had been a relatively nice day outside, until now. Haro was currently wrapped securely under his vest, as he made haste to where the map Tieria drew for him, indicated. He was now soaked to the bone but that didn't exactly matter now.
He was very bothered by how Tieria had sounded. Something was off and he couldn't help but feel worried for the other. He stole one last glance at the map, coming to a stop and looking around. He felt Haro fidget in his arms. "Haro sees Tieria, Haro sees Tieria!" it repeated in it's almost child-like voice. That's when he saw him, standing, protected from the rain by an umbrella held by a red-haired man and accompanied by a second figure.
He couldn't help but release a small sigh of relief.
A WILD LOCKON APPEARSdarth_vedaOctober 30 2008, 05:20:47 UTC
"Haro sees Tieria! Haro sees Tieria!"
The familiar mechanical voice buzzed over the sound of the rain and the waves. Tieria's heart jumped and he slowly turned to face the haunting sound. He didn't know what he expected to see...A zombie? A ghost, maybe? He felt like it would have made sense here. But Lockon Stratos stood there instead, as if he'd never lost the use of his eye while protecting him, or broken the locks to his quarters to fight for his family...As if he hadn't died.
It was all so impossible, yet there he was, walking toward him with his goofy smile and his obnoxious robot, waving at him like nothing had ever happened. All Tieria could do was raise his hand in some kind of dazed greeting, and try not to be humiliated by his disheveled appearance. "Lock...on..." He muttered, barely audible over the sound of rain pounding on the umbrella.
