Kagari had been noticing her clothes getting tighter but was convinced by now that it would be completely unacceptable to the rest of the city for her to go without clothes entirely, as she had done while back in Kira from time to time, when it was warm enough.

So she had stolen away once to find cloth. There were stores that sold cloth already meant for wearing, but she knew she needed something bigger... for now, she had to settle with 'big' clothes that would not last her more than month at this stage in her pregnancy, which she knew. And it was only a matter of time before it became obvious.

The only reason she desired to hide it was for fear of being coddled like some new mother like the younger Kira-bois were prone to do. That was of course the only way she had been able to go with Lelouch into the jungle again. Even if he had known... it wouldn't have changed things...That and... she had always done it this way. Without whatever Ribika had mated with her to result in a new child. This time it wasn't a Ribika-boi and this wasn ( ... )

LOL HI GUIZ oni_no_ko_desu October 27 2008, 17:58:04 UTC
Kagari would be calling by any time now, but any hope of a recovery had long since left his mind, having not lingered there too long in the first place.

It was the company Souji was looking forward to. Not that Aoshi filled the role poorly, quite the opposite, Souji loved having the man with him and was more grateful for Aoshi than he had the words to say. It was that he would be meeting someone new, something he hadn't done in such a long, long time, and something he'd always enjoyed before... before things had gotten quite so serious.

He couldn't leave his bed, let along his room, but everything was clean this morning. Clean sheets, clean robe, and a light, fresh breeze was blowing in through an open window. Despite Kagari's assurances that she, like Aoshi wouldn't catch his consumption Souji was still uneasy. He had even fastened a thin veil to cover his mouth and tied it at the back of his head. Aoshi would probably roll his eyes, but Souji could only smile.

lol I swear I was gonna tag this back >_>;; imurvixen October 27 2008, 20:07:33 UTC
The fact was that Kagari was always armed, but not because she carried any weapons. It was one joy of being a Ribika; she knew she was always ready to defend herself. And now, her kit as well.

"Be careful, Nomori-boi, or you'll forget how to smile." She beamed at him as he frowned at her. "Is Kitio awake?" She assumed he was there, at the house; the only question was if he was in a visitable condition yet.

[[OOC: Okay so I completely forgot that Kagari is "Warrior" and she's trying to deceive two ninja, so go her. In all seriousness if you guys want to spot her condition, go ahead - not like they'd tell anyone during the time-skip anyway, right? ]]

He made only a noncommittal noise and nodded, turning his back to her and moving away, assuming that she would follow as he made his way up the stairs. Down the hall to Souji's room, and he raised one hand to knock lightly on the door.

And if Kagari had been facing him, had been able to catch just the slightest glimpse of his face, it would have been impossible to ignore the way his gaze softened, the way even being this close to Souji affected him so strongly.

Two knocks, and then he reached for the doorknob and turned, pushing the door open slowly. It was possible Souji had fallen back asleep, but a quick check wouldn't wake him, if he had - Aoshi had always been quiet enough to slip in and out without waking the smaller swordsman.

[[OOC: Nah, they wouldn't - they don't really talk to many other people than each other.]]
