WHO: Kagari (imurvixen), Okita Souji (oni_no_ko_desu), Shinomori Aoshi (blue_okashira)
WHAT: Souji wants a conversation. Alone. But that doesn't mean Aoshi can't intercept Kagari before she gets to him...

Aoshi was...uncomfortable, to say the least. After so long protecting Souji from most of the rest of the outside world, suddenly having the smaller swordsman request to have a private conversation with someone else - regardless of the fact that Souji had promised to tell him the contents of the conversation afterward, which Aoshi completely believed, as surprising as that was - was unnerving. Especially considering that there was little else Souji and this...Kagari, if Aoshi recalled correctly, could be discussing other than Souji's rapidly worsening illness.
A frown crossed his face as he happened upon that thought, his brow furrowing over closed eyes as his meditation suddenly became much harder. Souji couldn't do much of anything now. He was strictly confined to bed, had a hard time even lifting little things like his quill to write. His cough was terrible, and it brought up blood in disturbing quantities every time.
With a disgusted sigh, Aoshi opened his eyes. With thoughts like that, it was damn near impossible to get any sort of worthwhile meditation accomplished.
There was nothing to be done. Souji had made his request, Aoshi had agreed, and the woman was coming here. It was just a matter of how long it would take.
