WHAT: Personality 101. Kanda and Lenalee are trying to act like each other to keep anyone else from finding out about their...situation.
WHERE: The beach.
WHEN: Just after lunch.

Daisya watched them both and sighed, putting a hand to his forehead. This's gonna take a lotta work, he thought.

"Okay. First. Kanda... you look like a harlot tryin' to pick up a friend for the evening. Lenalee doesn't swing her hips like that, she walks like a normal person. An' Lenalee, you look like you're bein' watched by a crowd of hungry wolves... relax just a bit. He may have Mugen up his ass, but he isn't gonna snap his head off holdin' it up so high."

Although, he mused, Kanda did have a tendency to act a bit stuck-up... though saying that out loud probably wasn't worth the result.

Uh oh. Five minutes and already Kanda could feel himself growing impatient. He had to keep telling himself that it was worth it. Last thing he wanted to deal with was the jeering comments and all sorts of other forms of humiliation he would no doubt suffer if anyone found out about this.

Normally, Kanda didn't care about what other people thought. That was before he woke up one morning with breasts.

And he really wished Daisya would cut it out with the Mugen up his ass jokes.

Instead, Kanda managed to suck in his usual temper, and tried to walk naturally. Tried. It was hard. Lenalee's legs didn't have the reach of his normal stride. He had to shorten his steps, making it incredibly awkward for his arm swing. At the same time, he had to make sure he wasn't swinging his hips nearly so much.

It was going to be a long day.

This was going to be harder than Lenalee thought. Relax a bit, yet still look like she had . . . well, the way Daisya described Kanda? She let the muscles in her neck slacken just a bit, relaxed her shoulders just a little, and tried walking again. She still felt like a child trying to avoid cracks in the cobblestones by taking these huge strides.

How does he manage to fight so well moving like this? she thought. "Is this any better?" she asked Daisya.

Daisya stared at them both, then sighed and put his face in his hands. "I guess we should be glad neither of you switched with me," he mumbled. He looked up and shook his head. "Look, why don't you just tell the truth? 's not like anyone from the Order will care beyond makin' sure you're okay... which might not be a bad idea, considerin'."

"NO!" Kanda shouted the moment the words finished leaving Daisya's mouth. It was pure stubbornness on his part by this point, for what Daisya said not only made sense, but would be the practical route to take. Sure, the other Order members would have a laugh or two out of it, but once the shock (and amusement) died down, everyone would pull in to try and find out just how exactly this experiment had been done and, hopefully, find a way to reverse it.

Kanda's pride would have none of it.

He knew that he would get most of the humiliation out of it (everyone only showed concern for Lenalee, anyway; they would just feel sorry for her). Especially from Lavi, and no doubt the beansprout would throw bribes his way. Then there would be putting up with Bak, and Komui if he ever got here.

"Let's just keep going," he added after a moment of trying to get his senses back. "I think I'm getting the hang of this."
