In a way, it was a good thing the Boots wouldn't respond to her like this, even if they did fit on her feet. She didn't think she'd ever get airborne.
Seeing Kanda was surreal. It was like looking in a mirror, except the "reflection" wasn't following her every move. And she rarely scowled the way the Lenalee in front of her was.
"All right," she said. "I'm here. Let's talk."

He shuddered; he was fairly certain he'd see those bodies for the next several nights.
"Okay, so what do you need me for?"

He was glad that Daisya came up when he did. Otherwise he would be gawking at himself all day.
"We're here so that Lenalee and I can learn how to act like each other better," Kanda finally announced. "For the sake of our dignities, it's better if we just not let anybody else know about this. Daisya, you are here to be our judge, to see if, in the third party perspective, we are convincing enough."

She felt a bit nauseated as she said "human experimentation." She remembered all too well witnessing Leverrier's forbidden experiments in forcing people to be Exorcists. The very idea that she'd been the subject of a twisted experiment herself was sickeningly ironic.
How did they do this, anyway? she thought. There had to be some kind of magic involved -- no science she knew of could have healed all their wounds, from the spar as well as the fights at the ball, as well as switching their bodies.

A playful grin showed that he was joking... and enjoying this immensely.
"An' Lenalee... uh, Kanda in her body, you gotta relax for the same reason. You look like a schoolgirl wearing a chastity belt."
