Kicking up trails of dust behind him, he cut through the crowd, taking the shortest route possible as he made his way to the football field.

Sena was happy. Actually. He was more than happy. How long had he been here? Two months and a half? Three months? Well, either way, he hadn't had proper amefuto practice(training by himself didn't count and nor did the mini beach football game) and he was more than psyched to actually be able to attend a practice.

There was a voice at the back of his head that told him it wasn't the same- of course it wasn't. Monta wasn't here to mess around with and work together with. Juumonji-kun, Kuroki-kun and Togano-kun and Komusubi-kun and Taki-san weren't there to start fights with one another. Musashi-san's silent presence was missing and as was Kurita-san's happy-go-lucky one. But that couldn't bring him down.

After all, it was still amefuto. And well, working with new team mates would be a bit like how it was when it was just him, Hiruma-san, Kurita-san and Monta, wouldn't it ( ... )

It still amazed Mamori as to how the devil quarterback of the Deimon DevilBats managed to build the football field in front of her. It was very grand, perhaps the only thing that is better than this place is the Christmas Bowl stadium. There were lighting equipment, the grass field was clean and clipped and there were goalposts, even.

"Well...", she thought, "it only shows how much Hiruma-kun loves amefuto, even if he doesn't say it."

Taking a deep breath, she readied herself for all the things Hiruma would probably make her do (being the manager and all and knowing Hiruma will make her work hard). She started walking towards the quarterback of the DevilBats, as she spotted him. However, she was surprised as someone whizzed past her.

"Is that Sena?" she wondered.

Riku made his way to the football stadium. He wasn't in a hurry, but he still felt like running all the same.

Both Sena and Mamo-nee went out, he knew that they would be attending the practice, too, so why didn't they just go there together? Well, maybe the fact that he looked like a cat made them think that he shouldn't be allowed to go out to practice.

Yes, he was still in his cat form, but luckily, the overly-feral character that he had when he began transforming was now toned down. That was why he was confident enough to go out- he looked like all the other ordinary kitties out in the streets. Surely no one (especially the vampire lady) would see him as a threat ( ... )

She'd been just a little out of sorts the last few days. One could almost say that events like the disco, the ball, the masquerade-- all attempts at shaking things up, only to be ruined by bloodshed and drama ( ... )

Hiruma didn't even look up at Claire when she arrived, simply grinned to himself and put the football down, looking at the field. Sena, Mamori, Riku. Good start, for now, he guessed ( ... )
