Kikumaru yawned as he stretched at the docks. It was a long and tiring trip, riding on that boat. Furthermore, those who were rowing the boat were so quiet and unresponsive, reminding him of Hyotei's Kabaji. Sitting still and being quiet was not his cup of tea, being a very active acrobatic tennis player and all.

After finding out how the journals work, he wrote entries and managed to find out that his teammates Fuji and Echizen were here. He was ecstatic to see his best friend and "Ochibi".

He took a good look around. The place was full of people walking by and minding their own business. It was very strange and the buildings looked ancient. He wondered why he and the others got sent to this place.

"Fujiko and Ochibi sure are taking their time..." he muttered.

There were a number of other people, strolling along the boardwalk as Fuji swept glances around for his friend. He didn't seem to be anywhere on the boardwalk at all.

Then he remembered. Eiji probably took his advice literally and went to wait at the docks. Sighing, and assuming that Ryoma was behind him, he walked in quick, purposeful strides towards the harbor where fresh lines of boats could be seen.

It was getting dark. He had to find his friend, or else.

A lone figure was lying on the ground not far from the sea, stretching and yawning and basically making a lot of noise. Fuji smiled. That had to be him. "Eiji!"

Kikumaru was busy checking out the place when he heard his best friend's voice calling him.

'Fujiko!' he thought.

He scanned the area with his sharp vision, looking for the brown-haired tensai and the freshman prodigy. After a while, he spotted them coming and waved.

"Fuji! Ochibi! Over here!" he shouted.

Relief overcame him. He might have arrived in this unknown place alone but now he was seeing two people he knew very well approaching him.

As they met up, he immediately grinned at his best friend. He hasn't changed at all, still with closed eyes and a smile. The baby of the team was still the same bratty Ochibi.

He couldn't resist glomping the little guy as he grinned at Fuji.

[ooc: Lol poor Gelly has to backlog so much. D:]

Hearing Eiji's voice wasn't like anything in Rivelata. It was special and it reminded him of home. So Fuji jogged right up to him and stretched a hand to help him up. "Saa, and I thought that I was going to be stuck with Ryoma-chan forever~" He commented playfully, not forgetting to add amusement to his tone.

As Eiji gave Ryoma his trademark glomp, Fuji couldn't help but lightly chuckle. This was all so familiar, so homey. If there was any one wish, he wouldn't even hesitate before requesting to go home.

Home... "Souka! How was Yuuta when you last saw him, Eiji?" Fuji had meant for his words to come across as a casual comment, but failed terribly. Smiling half-heartedly, he led the way back home. "Do you want some food before we get back, or do you trust my cooking~?"

Fuji's chuckling and his kouhai's protests of "Kikumaru-senpai get off me!" was very nostalgic to Eiji. It was like being back on the courts during the times that the team was together.

But now, there were only 3 of them here. As much as he wished that the team would be together again, he felt that it was wrong to hope that they'll all get pulled into this strange place and never come back.

He was surprised however, when Fuji suddenly asked about his otouto. He thought, "So he's still worried about Yuuta..." He just smiled and assured his best friend that his little brother was doing fine although he hasn't seen the St. Rudolph regular lately.

Eiji sweatdropped at what Fuji said. His penchant for teasing hasn't changed at all. Not one bit.

"I'm not sure Fujiko... Are there any restaurants here?"
