Practically dragging the poor boy down the streets, Fuji refused to stop. "It's Eiji, Ryoma-chan. Don't you miss him~?" Those words failed to reflect how truly delighted he was, now that his best friend was here. Eiji was always cheery. Eiji was always excited. Eiji always brightened up everybody's day.
It was past sunset now, and the docks were slightly less crowded than he had remembered it to be. The boardwalk seemed to be a great place to wait. Did Fuji expect Eiji to turn up someday? Should he be sad that his friend was trapped here, or happy that he had company? He didn't really know, so he smiled to strangers and kept his eyes open on the lookout for a bouncy redhead.
