So A Genome, An Assassin, and A Bat Walk into a House... [Complete]

WHAT: A strange collection of individuals gather to save the Schwartz...
WHERE: Warehouse district, not far from the Necromancer's lair.
WHEN: Day 71, 1:15 AM
In fact, for all he knew, time had run out. With the war on Zikhadhara declared, there was a chance the Queen had silently executed the two captured members of the Schwartz quietly in order to avoid dissent from any potential Royalists, or even from neutrals who might be swayed by such to the side of the Godking.
But it seemed unlikely.
Immaculada, for all of her supposed time on the throne, was not mature at all, wielding her power inefficiently and childishly. She would, most likely, execute them in the most public manner possible, as a show of power and to enforce that her will was, in this pitifully small civilization, absolute.
Still, this ball would be their best chance for cover to break into the castle and free the Schwartz. He couldn't do it alone, though... But, if their compatriots could, either, they likely would have made their move by now. So it seemed an alliance, however temporary, against a common enemy, was called for.
While he loathed leaving the others and not being there to protect them, he had been training Max and Claire for a reason. He would have to trust them to take care of themselves and the others. He had his mission. And so, for the second night, he watched, and he waited.
