In a Place Outside of Time [Event - Open to All Not Taken by the Cat-Curse]
WHO: Everyone not under the cat curse who answered the invitation
WHAT: The Masquerade Ball!
WHERE: One of the mansions in the housing district.
WHEN: Day 72; 8pm-midnight
EVENT - THE MASQUERADE BALL
It had taken her practically the whole afternoon to set up things, even with the help of Lelouch and Max and Hiruma here and there. Bruce was getting his own plans set in motion, Lelouch had helped her set up security with Renamon, and had gotten a band to provide all sorts of music through the evening.
The mansion itself was gorgeous, of course, and even the way leading up to the front of the building was ornate and beautifully decorated, all gardens and fountains.
Max had helped decorate and set up the refreshments-- as if she would have let Max make anything edible or such-- and by now the ballroom itself looked spectacular. Candles kept the whole room lit, stands with refreshments near the entrance, a few seats for those not busy dancing here and there, the band set up in the back. Punch was set up, both spiked and not so spiked, clearly labeled, too, and small hors d'oeuvres lined the tables as well.
Each entrance was manned by security, and there were guards on rotation manned in various places throughout the building. A bouncer at the front door was there in case someone possessed by the cat curse tried to enter, and overall, everything seemed like it would be a grand-- not to mention safe-- party.
At that point, it was just a matter of waiting for the guests to arrive.
