I would not recommend to let anyone travel the streets alone at night. Although we had previously known the city to be dangerous... I have been reminded of it.

There was an attacker who seemed to be waiting for my arrival. I do not know if he is the one responsible for the murders that have taken place, but it is possible.

I did not recognize what I could see of his face, while his abilities and form of combat were unfamiliar.

Perhaps we can formulate methods to counter them, at the least.

It was difficult to see his abilities- There was little light to see by. He seemed to be able to create a wound with a single finger, though without a visible weapon, or contact with the skin. They seemed to have an electrical based attack, although it did little.

I was able to restrain him for a time. I did not draw my Zanpakuto.
