#01 - Walking
Sometimes, as Nakamaru follows closely behind his best friend's footsteps, he watches and waits and is acutely aware of when--oh, there it is--Ueda stumbles just a little bit, he's there to remain walking behind him, acting as if nothing happened.
#02 - Waltz
Nakamaru always has to remind himself not to bring his written directions on how to waltz when he does the waltz, because he always ends up staring at Ueda anyways.
#03 - Wishes
When they see the shooting star, they immediately think to make a wish but never get to, because they're too busy admiring the bright, luminous light that shines out towards them from the sky--too busy comparing it to the person they're standing next to.
#04 - Wonder
It isn't healthy to think so much, Ueda knows, but he does it anyway because Nakamaru acts as if he doesn't wonder about anything at all--doing as he pleases when he pleases--so Ueda changes his mind and decides that not thinking at all isn't healthy either.
#05 - Worry
Nakamaru has this tendency to crease his brows when he frowns, where he does it so much that Ueda wonders whether or not he'll gain wrinkles from doing that, and so he proceeds to smooth out the crease with his thumb, getting a tongue stuck out in return.
#06 - Whimsy
They both do the most random things, they realize, as one of them brushes his hand against the other's before slowly interweaving his fingers into the other's delicate ones--before slapping it.
#07 - Waste
That was a waste, they both think, as they find and pass by that one little moment of contentful silence between them, just because it was a small mistake on one another's part, and they didn't dare think of what could've happened if it didn't end up being a such a waste.
#08 - Whiskey
Nakamaru is always careful when he chooses his alcoholic beverages because he knows he's going to be sharing them later with picky Ueda anyways; so when they find themselves clinking their glasses together with a soft "ganbai" for the night, Nakamaru's happy that he chose good-old-trustworthy sake over whiskey, because he gets something special in return.
#09 - War
Ueda is known as the member who gets into a lot of fights in KAT-TUN--the one who is quiet and conservative and such, the one who is always thinking and battling an internal war inside his mind and heart, the one trying to get rid of the trivial emotions he feels but doesn't want, the one losing a never-ending battle that another KAT-TUN member is completely oblivious to of starting.
#10 - Weddings
It's the most intimate thing they can do at this point--they know--helping to adjust each other's already perfectly tied bows, taking a deep breath, a glance to the side, and a tiny nibble on the bottom lip before they let the other go.
#11 - Birthday
"Omedetou," they murmur to themselves as Nakamaru blows out his strawberry cake and Ueda does the same for his fruit tart, and still at the same time, they wish each other a happy birthday and wonder what the other is doing.
#12 - Blessing
It's awesome to be alive, they think, because it really is--to be able to breathe and see and smell the freshness of the morning when they wake up and to be able to turn around to see the other there.
#13 - Bias
When there's a quarrel within KAT-TUN, everyone knows that Nakamaru would be the neutral one by standing to the side; however, if Ueda was involved, he would immediately stand up to defend their leader out of reasons he doesn't even know himself.
#14 - Burning
He feels the strong gaze against the back of his head, and it takes all of his might to resist the temptation of looking back, because if he does, he'll be too tempted to do everything else pass the point of returning the burning gaze.
#15 - Breathing
When KAT-TUN is doing a Live, Nakamaru has to remember to just breathe, because staring at Ueda grind his hips against Jin's isn't supposed to make his heart clench tightly or make him feel angry or jealous, because it wasn't his fault the routine had to go like that; Nakamaru has to remember to just breathe because staring at his best friend throughout the live isn't supposed to make him imagine Ueda do the same to him--wasn't supposed to make him feel as if it was so impossible to breathe in the first place.
#16 - Breaking
If Ueda wanted to, he could break KAT-TUN up as easily as breaking a bone, because he held them together like a wedding ring to a marriage, and if he wanted to, he could break Nakamaru up as easily as cracking a smile, because every single time he does, Nakamaru is already broken.
#17 - Belief
When Ueda claimed he could see fairies, he really could see them--those little people who grants all your wishes as long as you believe in them; "Kimi o shinjiteru," he whispers into Nakamaru's ear right before their first concert.
#18 - Balloon
Balloons are for little kids and cheesy scenes in movies and most definitely not for celebrating their one-year anniversary together, despite the rest of KAT-TUN taking quick--"Oh, that one was a cute one!"--snapshots of them with the balloons in the background and Jin's random Doraemon balloon hanging off to the side because--"Hey, it's cute!" and Nakamaru's cute and Ueda likes cute so the Doraemon balloon is okay but balloons in general are not because it isn't as if they're in a cheesy scene in a romance movie, despite Ueda's light blush on his cheeks and Nakamaru's sheepish but proud grin screaming otherwise.
#19 - Balcony
As KAT-TUN's quiet leader leans forward, he's numbly aware of the dangerous edge calling out to him just a step away, but as he hears a raspy "Tatsuya" from behind, he snaps back to reality and takes a pause, turning slowly around to reply to the out-of-breath Nakamaru that he was just sight-seeing, really--even though it was his own house.
#20 - Bane
Nakamaru knows it's dangerous to feel a thing like this for a person like that in an industry like Johnny's; he knows that if it was to ever be revealed, that he'd be the bane of any existing possibilities.
#21 - Quiet
After every performance, Ueda has this tendency to glance at his best friend, just to see him look up with a tired gaze to meet his eyes, so they can both smile and mouth a "you did great" for reassurance, because idols have their moments too, and Ueda needs it.
#22 - Quirks
Nakamaru has weird quirks, Ueda decides one day, which makes him wonder whether or not they even have compatibility between themselves; however, when Nakamaru comes over a random day to complain about Ueda's own weird quirks, Ueda is for certain this time that yeah, it was impossible.
#23 - Question
When Ueda has a question, Nakamaru knows he won't raise his soft tenor voice to speak it out; he knows that his leader would, instead, smile a bit from the previously said comment and look to the floor, so the human beatbox would have to ask the unspoken question instead, as Ueda would release the breath that he didn't even realize he was holding.
#24 - Quarrel
He apologizes profusely before Ueda's scowl falters slightly in his show of irritation--even though, really, he isn't mad at all--but Nakamaru notices the amusement in the younger boy's eyes and laughs, before Ueda hits him over the head once more so the older boy would have to, again, apologize profusely.
#25 - Quitting
"I lo--" and it would stop there; Nakamaru knows it isn't good to complete something halfway, so when Ueda's eyes cast down after Nakamaru explains that "It's nothing" to Ueda's "What?," Nakamaru reminds himself later on that he'll try again.
#26 - Jump
Every Thursday, when Nakamaru visits Ueda's house to watch their favorite show, they would "3, 2, 1-- Jump!" onto the bed because it gave them the excuse to have physical contact with each other as they get comfy and murmur soft "sorry"'s when they accidentally grab the other's hand instead of the blanket.
#27 - Jester
After Nakamaru had found all of his zippers detached from his pants one morning, and was forced to go to work in tight leather pants (the only pair he had that didn't have a zipper on them in the first place), he never openly doubted Ueda's inner jester again.
#28 - Jousting
Nakamaru always felt that he was in a never-ending competition with Taguchi, so when he comments one time "You win again," as Taguchi gets paired up with Ueda in the same hotel room, Taguchi is left blinking, dumbfounded, because he honestly has absolutely no idea what Nakamaru is going on about, as he boldly states, "You may have won the battle, but never the war!"
#29 - Jewel
"Suge," Kame quietly exclaims as he scrutinizes the diamond ring Ueda was showing off, to which he later regretted doing so because of Jin's constant complaints about Kame's persistency to receive a ring himself.
#30 - Just
"Just... because," he mindlessly says, which receives a smack upside the head in return because that doesn't answer Ueda's question on the reason why Nakamaru loves him.
#31 - Smirk
"It takes more muscles to frown than to smile; but how much does it take to smirk?" Ueda asks one day, and Nakamaru doesn't answer because he's still trying to cope with the fact that Ueda is a thousand times more stronger than him.
#32 - Sorrow
Before, Nakamaru always had to wonder why Ueda constantly wrote such depressing ballads, so he's happy that Ueda is able to share his thoughts with him more openly now.
#33 - Stupidity
Ueda knows that Nakamaru isn't as stupid as the other KAT-TUN members assume he is, because he isn't, really--and so when Ueda goes and asks Nakamaru for the day's date and he says the 32nd of October, Ueda isn't surprised at all, because he tried, really, to defend his best friend's pride and nonexistent intelligence.
#34 - Serenade
Unfamiliar notes through a familiar and soothing voice of a soft and beautiful melody drifted into his ears, and he was certain that he wasn't delirious or anything because Ueda was standing right there, pulling Nakamaru into his gentle and haunting serenade.
#35 - Sarcasm
After Ueda's sarcastic remark, Nakamaru is left standing there in a daze, because he's pretty, pretty sure it was sarcastic, so he tries with all his might and sanity to not actually go about kissing Ueda's butt.
#36 - Sordid
During the whole Oyako de DANCE competition, Ueda would always have to mentally punch himself in the head because thoughts of killing Koki in the most sordid of methods wasn't good for his mentality.
#37 - Soliloquy
Thinking out loud's dangerous, Nakamaru knows, because it always seems that the Lady of Fate has a jolly, good-old time messing with him and Coincidence, considering that every single freaking time he thought out loud about Ueda, said person in question would just randomly come out of nowhere and catch the last phrases that would be something relating to love.
#38 - Sojourn
Nakamaru needs no reason when it comes to visiting Ueda's house, because it was like a sanctuary to him and his presence was like a sanctuary to Ueda; they both needed a refuge to run to when times got tough, even if those tough times were caused by each other.
#39 - Share
Although the rest of KAT-TUN constantly reassures Nakamaru that "Yes, we know. We won't touch Tacchan," he still gets so paranoid about the issue that he would occasionally suggest to their leader about getting tattoos stating copyright issues.
#40 - Solitary
Nakamaru decides "Enough already!" and turns off his television because he's tired of spending his free weekends alone at home and tired of listening to the same song over and over on loop and tired to dreaming of possibilities and impossibilities and once he's decided that it is, in fact, possible, he goes out to determine the end or start of a new solitude.
#41 - Nowhere
Ueda absolutely hates being surprised or shocked or stunned in public because he would always have such a strange reaction that would ruin his image, so when Nakamaru pulls his confession out of the middle of nowhere, he decides it's okay just this once because they're alone and no one saw him squeal like a girl and jump on Nakamaru.
#42 - Neutral
When KAT-TUN splits up into pairs during television specials and such, Ueda realizes that there's a certain symmetry to it all--where each pairing is to remain neutral, sweet, and so typical to the point where the viewer is thinking, "Oh, them again?" and changes the channel.
#43 - Nuance
As Nakamaru rewatches the Utawara episode of the Oyako de DANCE competition, he attempts but fails to hide the amused smile on his face as Ueda is seen jumping onto a bed and he ignores the subtle difference of tone Ueda used towards Taguchi and he proceeds to fast forward because he can't handle it anymore.

Nakamaru hates it when another KAT-TUN member is near Ueda, because it twists and distorts the viewer's impression of who is whose best friend and vice versa; so he pouts and sulks and pretends to be the other half of KAT-TUN's comedic duo--well, until he notices Ueda pouting and sulking and totally not pretending to be happy.
#45 - Natural
Ueda's vaguely aware of the sweetness in the air and the warmth beside his side and the steps that are suspiciously in pace with his, but he quickly subsides the thoughts because it feels like such a natural thing.
#46 - Horizon
They both hold back their chuckles as they try not to think about how romantic it is to watch the blushing horizon together, because who knew they were such sentimentalists?
#47 - Valiant
Nakamaru is left blushing brightly as Ueda laughs out loud because it was just too damn funny how Nakamaru randomly came up to him to yell to the whole world that he loves him.
#48 - Virtuous
Koki bursts out laughing after Nakamaru's latest love problem is explained, "He believes in abstinence! After 5 years of unrequited love! Doushiyo??"
#49 - Victory
He finally takes a breath, relieved, as Ueda smiles in return and forgives him for being so late and Nakamaru swears that victory never felt as good as it did then.
#50 - Defeat
Nakamaru always knows when to give up, when to strike a win, and when to remain neutral by claiming his victory a tie--but when he's desperate--when he's so, so desperate to win and claim what he thinks is rightfully his--even when he foresees his upcoming defeat--he ignores it, and takes the all or nothing risk.
