my biggest regret from college is not spending my summers getting experiences like that internship would be - things that I was interested in that I might never get a chance to pursue now that I am going to have to do everything based on what I can afford. Making it through the semester without hardly any spending money is really rough, but I think it would have been worth it for me. And I wouldn't have despised the summers quite so much, since my jobs were always soul-sucking.
I don't know if my situation is similar enough to yours to know whether it would be better for you to do it or not to do it, but I wish now that I could go back and do my college summers over again for that very reason.
that IS confusing. i dunno, does the excitement about the thingy in Ohio (WHERE in Ohio, by the way??) outweigh the nervousness about having to go STRAIGHT there and not getting in enough work time? cause if it does, go for it, and if it doesn't, you shouldn't.
but doesn't being an RA mean you get paid? so the money over the summer thing should be a smaller concern, if you're going to get paid for being an RA.
that's all kinds of complicated crazy babe. but you can do it! :D
