since I have all kinds of things to do today, I should, for course, update first. procrastination is always key.

First, next year I will be an RA. This is good news, however, I am not terribly excited about it. I have to be back here hella early (august eleven, which means if I get my drivers liscense and drive to school like I'd like to, I'll have to leave like, the eighth, and take it real slow so my mom wont worry too much), and I'll be living in a dorm I have hardly set foot in my entire three years here. maybe that's a good thing? anyways, it's just the right amount of responsiblity, and it means that I will not have to work (like workstudy work) as much as I do this semester, though, I will do some (hopefully spanish TA again).

Also...
I have big question for everyone.

lets say you had the oppurtunity to do an archeology field school this summer, which was nice because it was right up your alley and something that your college doesnt usually offer because the entire anthro department is very cultural/linguistic (which is great, because you're double major in anthro and spanish), BUT it's unpaid (though, the tution and food and room and board are all paid for by the school), and you have to PAY to get there (plane tickets), and the real kicker, you'll have to leave to get there from boston the very same day you get home from spain. or the next morning. AND it cuts severly into your work time for the summer, since it will take out an entire MONTH of the time you'd be working, adn the RA thing is taking out a week and half of the time you'd be working...eek.
okay, so the moral of the story is I am incredibly panicy about what the heck it would mean for me to be coming home from spain, immediately leaving for Ohio, working out in the hot sun for a month, then returning home to work for only a month (hopefully making enough to buy books and last through the shcool year, but really, who knows, not me and I havent been home in so long.
but it seems like too great an oppurtunity to pass up, adn who the heck cares that I havent been home in a long time, soon I'll be all grown up and graduated and have to nchoose somewhere else to live and never ever go home ever OHMYGOSH.
anyways, what would YOU do.

mk.
I should get some work done.
chau.
