I just realized I hadn't updated my journal for ever. Way too much school and work. Been subbing....for all you yungin's out there....it's a job that can be great fun or absolute torture. Spent a day under lock down at a correctional school. It was fun. The kids were all ages (no classes 'cause they never know when they'll be in court or

I think you should teach at a community college. I don't want every ounce of your compassion to be hammered out by troublemakers. Imagine how much fun you'd have teaching your passion to the willing. Also, i'd be able to sit in on classes that way.

Actually, from what I'm seeing, a lot of teachers do both. My current teacher is doing two college classes and a full time job at a local high school. Wow, we had a great class last night! Studied poetry and it was amazing...a little Robert Frost, T.S. Elliott...made me want to read more, and I realized how much I still need to learn.

You can come sit in on my class anytime! But I sure hope I can pull one off like I saw last night.
